Suprised Britney Spears is doing worse than Nicole Scherzinger! Nicole is no longer a flop and will build momentum for single 3 by not dropping out top 40 albums.
They've done it. Foo Fighters are Number One!!

Jumping the gun a bit, aren't we. :P

They may be #1 now, but unlike Adele, their sales are likely to be front-loaded.

Unless/until we see some sales margins though, we won't know if they are likely to stay there for the whole week.

I hope Adele can overtake during the course of the week. I really want her to be #1 for 17 weeks, until Gaga comes along.. that would just be amazing and record braking. I think the Foos will be a bit frontloaded so hopefully it can happen. Nice to see KP in the top 3 (although, I would have prefered #4) and nice to see Britney back in the top 30. I think Chris should climb during the week aswell & end up at atleast #5.
I hope Adele overtakes again. I want her to remain at #1 until GaGa. She's breaking records left, right and centre. I hope she keeps going!

Metronomy and TV On The Radio top 20!!!

Great stuff

:o what Bob Dylan album is at 33?

Bright Lights Bigger City is set for a new peak as it seems.

gonna be amazing sales in the album chart this week I'd say 50k+ so far for the foos, it'll be interesting to see how that 23k lead holds in the coming days but with the lead that big i'd say they have the #1 for this week, Adele back there next week though.

foo fighters are ahead by 23k, I say Unless Foo fighters album has been removed from all retailers, they are guaranteed #1 with that lead.

They must be about double Adele (based on Adele's opening sales last week and the inevitable drop-off this week) so I'd be astonished if they didn't hold the #1 spot for the entire week.

23k ahead? Surely that must be enough, although it depends on how many of their sales were pre-orders. I remember Muse's last album selling over 80k by Tuesday and everyone being gobsmacked but it didn't even make 150k by the end of the week because the pre-orders meant it was ultra-frontloaded.

TV On The Radio

A bit of disappointment for them! I remember Dear Science being one of the most praised album of 2008 and it was Top 40 success too. Surely they should've open better with this one. I predict it'll be 33-ish on Sunday.

Go Alison!

Unless Foos do well over 150k this week, Adele will definitely be back at #1 next week (the Foos will surely drop by about half next week if not more).

23k lead! :o surely thats enough? obviously they may be front-loaded, but Adele will need a huge boost to catch up, I'm really glad though, a new number 1 album finally looks likely :D

and great for LMFAO too- they'll extend their lead throughout the week, looks like we may finally have a singles clearout this week

Looks like Katy Perry - Firework is eventually out of the charts starting from tommorow :(

It already dropped out for one week :P

Foos at #1 as expected. Didn't expect such an ENORMOUS lead :o But I'm sure it'll die down over the week anyway. We know Adele has sold at least 19k so far :kink: If we assume Glee have at least 10k Adele has at least 30k so far so 21 probably won't be far off a 12th week over 100k. Hopefully 19 will overtake Glee v.5, surely that album is due a #5 peak?

LMFAO at #1 :D
