I looked back at the thread, Echoes.. sold 47k by Tuesday and 100k by Friday and 135k by sunday, so not particularly front-loaded although obviously it slowed down a little bit- I can see this slowing down, but as Adele is as well, I think they have it this week

plus their lead over the number 2 (James Blunt) was 30k on Tuesday, by Sunday, they were 74k ahead of him- obviously Adele may put up more of a fight than he does- but they weren't *that* front-loaded with this release

:yahoo: those clinically deluded brit fans on last weeks chart prediction thread MUST have been sectioned/secure united - not just that this period its a certified unrecoverable (relative) flop - of course which many established acts go through - Kylie being the queen of career killing flop periods but luckily also the queen of UNFEASIBLE + UNIMAGINABLE comebacks :dancing: (though it IS the first Brit's had in a straight 10+ years , i think) but the woman for whatever reason now only puts a tiny degree of effort, inspiration, spirit, presence, whatever into all areas of a pop star/entertainer compared to previously AND thats just for the fraction of the time ;) when she's not using a stand in or body double/digitally attached body/(barely a) look-a-like(drag act)/backing singer/dancers/circus entourage etc etc - its even got through to some DELUDED fanatics its obviously not a temporary situation and they are giving up their support in droves - THAT her presence is even LESS in the sanitised sausage machine factory Jive product than before is saying something yet these nut cases STILL refer to Britney directly like she has ANY significant involvement with its creation/link with it except nominally - phoned in, shadow of former self, vocal "performances" (or frequently the more inspired backing singer vocals + Brits swapping positions in the mix ) NOT withstanding!

Suprised Britney Spears is doing worse than Nicole Scherzinger! Nicole is no longer a flop and will build momentum for single 3 by not dropping out top 40 albums.

For someone to be surprised Britney is doing worse than Nicole i guess you haven't seen the UK ALBUM CHARTS in the past DECADE or so ? <_<

Anyway here are the facts:

http://www.chartstats.com/artistinfo.php?id=2

Apart from the first 2 average performances given her stream of GIANT singles success back then, the rest have poor to DIABOLICALLY BAD initial chart runs ( and even with CAREER MONSTERS hits like 'Toxic' + 'Everytime' only achieve pathetic short lived NEVER re-entering top 10 EVEN recoveries for the parent album http://209.85.12.227/431/162/emo/shy.gif), indeed so far current bomb album FF performed not much different from 'Circus' and MUCH BETTER!!! than Blackout however that the year end high sale time of these 2 albums belies the disaster of the current one given how poor the sales are relatively at comparative positions for this time of year - its the sales that count for an album especially and FF has sold a drop in the ocean compared the starts of these 2 most recent studio albums despite how they bombed straight after release, Circus' being all the more tragic given lead 'Womanizer' was a 400+k seller!!! which along with the unexpectedly career low US debut sales for FF - so much for the lame "promo" excuse for bombing sales regularly trotted by desperately indenial Brit**** currently the web over http://209.85.12.227/431/162/emo/shy.gif http://209.85.12.227/431/162/emo/shy.gif http://209.85.12.227/431/162/emo/shy.gif

I was going to say why is the Band of the Coldstream Guards album going back up the chart, I guess its got to do with the run up to William and Kate marriage 2 weeks on Friday, I'm guessing the album will end up top 5 at some point. :D
