Isconia: Creep; Romy 'Days' was one of the tracks in my Semi Final which I actually gave points to, but alas it didn't qualify. It was by far the most "indie" track in the semi final. So yeah, indie songs don't seem to hit the mark.

 

Unknown Pleasures = indie. BJSC = pop. :D I'm sure had 'Days' been entered into Unknown Pleasures, it would've done well.

Not to sound arrogant but i think my song was the most 'indie' :kink:

 

And i'm through only because Eledan's usual luck is back with the return of the semis! Had it been sent by someone else it'd have not qualified :lol:

Listening to the final songs at the moment, I can definitely see why people were saying SF1 was better than SF2 :kink:

 

Unfortunately, one of the songs that has been tipped to win by many I really hate. :( But saying that, I've found my first '10/10' song from the three contests I've competed in! :cheer:

I'd imagine something like Cryptic doing pretty well. Just enter whatever you want I reckon, you've been rather good at selecting tracks in the past for the ChC competitions. I'd personally like to see more Indie entries in the contest.

Just voted, 3 are from SF1 and 7 from SF2. So I take back what I said before :P

I didn't go with Creep for UP coz of the presence of Romy on the track (who has had a Top 10 album with The XX) and I think it would then fall foul of the rules for UP.

I'd say that Creep and Gold Panda were equally indie.

Delphic have won BJSC.

 

The contest goes through cycles and Indie has had it's day, then Unknown Pleasures appeared and murdered our participation level.

I don't really think we can blame UP for our participation levels given we only lost about three or four regular participants to it :lol:

The one I hate is a bit more generic and is the kind of thing BJSC would lap up quickly. :(

Ooh, I'm guessing it's not Riverside and weren't you both considering Natteravn at some point, so it can't be that...

 

Make Me Break Me or Punk Rock Song then I guess. I think the latter has more potential to irritate so I'll go with that (even though I think it's great :lol:)
