Posted April 20, 201114 yr I know I've already done one episode thread today, and it's a while away, but hey ^_^ Tuesday, May 10(8:00-9:01 PM ET/PT) – “Prom Queen” When the entertainment for prom falls through, Principal Figgins (guest star Iqbal Theba) asks New Directions to perform at the dance much to prom coordinator Sue’s dismay. Things get heated as the competition for prom king and queen draws closer, and Jessie St. James (guest star Jonathan Groff) returns. Can't say I'm that excited for Jessie's return. Guess he could make things interesting but urgh, don't like him :( Edited April 20, 201114 yr by Jaack Sykes
April 20, 201114 yr Great to see Jonathon Groff back, a shame we havent seen more of him this season really. Now if only we could have Idina back at some point too. I've always said I prefered Rachel/Jesse than I did Rachel/Finn and I stick by this.
April 20, 201114 yr Author Idina! Now there's a season one guest star that I would really love to return
April 23, 201114 yr I do prefer Rachel/Jesse but I don't like Jesse and I love Finn. If that makes sense... And I for one would LOVE Idina to return! Is this not the ep where Sam, Artie and Puck are doing Friday? (don't moan I didn't use spoilers, it's a spoiler thread :P)

April 27, 201114 yr I loved Jessie St. James  I always thought he had the best voice of all the guys, and I loved his hilarious camp straight guy role he was playing (whether that was deliberate or not.)
April 29, 201114 yr Author Just seen this posted on DS: “Friday” by Rebecca Black. Sung by Puck, Artie, and Sam. “Dancing Queen” by ABBA. Sung by Mercedes and Santana. “Rolling In The Deep” by Adele. Sung by Jesse and Rachel. “Isn’t She Lovely” by Stevie Wonder. [unknown who is singing this] “My Man” by Barbra Streisand. Sung by Rachel. Santana vocals on DQ :w00t: Edited April 29, 201114 yr by Jaack Sykes
April 29, 201114 yr Mercedes and Santana? :manson: What's with the obsession with giving Santana f***ing vocals all of a sudden? I know Mercedes has been neglected this season but jesus, give her something that suits her vocals for crying out loud. My god I hate Hollywood. Dancing Queen is a classic by a European icon and they are going to slaughter it by two vocalist on it who couldn't be less suited to the track if Ryan Murphy tried. Tina, Rachel, Quinn and maybe Brittnay should be singing it.
April 29, 201114 yr “Friday” by Rebecca Black. Amazing song choices! I can't wait to hear them! :w00t: :w00t:
April 29, 201114 yr I can really see Jesse and Rachel totally doing Rolling in the deep some justice. I am glad Jesse is coming back. I felt there was more of his character to be seen at some point as i felt things between him and rachel were not totally over. Not sure if i want Quinn to win. But there's pros and con's really. It's predictable if the popular pretty girl wins but then it's predictable if someone not seem as popular and pretty wins as well. I hope Becky wins. That would be lovely. Someone you wouldn't expect. Edited April 29, 201114 yr by David John
May 3, 201114 yr Author Song covers are on amazon. 'My Man' doesn't seem to be in this episode, but the other songs I posted above are. On top of that, they're doing 'I'm Not Gonna Teach Your Boyfriend...' (which is meant to be Blaine, with Tina & Brittany on backing vocals iirc) & 'JAR OF HEARTS' :w00t:  Don't know how many know that Christina Perri song from last year, but I love it and glad it's getting some recognition. Now five songs I can't wait to hear :D Edited May 3, 201114 yr by Jaack Sykes
May 3, 201114 yr No. F***ing. Way!!! :w00t: Jar Of Hearts  As My Man is not in the episode, this will obviously be a Rachel solo... I would've liked Santana to sing it, but as they've bizarrely given her DQ with Mercedes then it's too much to hope. Isn't She Lovely will blatantly be an Artie solo YET AGAIN :( I'd give it to Puck personally. If the songs were up to me: Friday - Lauren (wouldn't it just be EPIC?) Dancing Queen - Brittany Rolling In The Deep - Rachel or Santana I'm Not Gonna Teach Your Girlfriend - any one of/combination of Puck/Finn/Artie/Sam/Mike Jar Of Hearts - Santana or Quinn Isn't She Lovely - Puck Loving the Santana vocal overload actually - first the amazing/beautiful Songbird and now DQ (though I doubt DQ will be as amazing)! Plus I read she gets a solo in the Nationals ep (may not be the actual competition solo though as Rachel has a solo too in this episode - she'll obviously get it...) so all is good! :D (Sorry for all the emoticons - I'm excited for Jar Of Hearts!)
May 4, 201114 yr APPARENTLY it's - Jar of Hearts - Rachel Friday - Puck, Sam & Artie Dancing Queen - Santana and Mercedes Rolling In The Deep - Jesse and Rachel I'm Not Gonna Teach Your Boyfriend How To Dance - Blaine (with Brittany and Tina on backing vocals) Isn't She Lovely - Artie (or Puck) Also, PROMO wRVZuiFzGAY
May 4, 201114 yr I don't like that promo! :( I don't want to see my Quinn violent! But I guess we've all been there and just wanted to lash out at somebody, when they've pissed us off, big time.
May 4, 201114 yr Quinn has BAMF written all over her in the next episode. Other than 'Rolling in the Deep', not sure how I feel about the song choices and even RITD is going to be completely oversung.
