With Rihanna teaming with Britney on a s&m remix and now Britney teaming with Kesha and Minaj on a till the world ends remix, i was curious to know what people's favourite remixes were of existing songs that had another artist feature on them.

Lady GaGa - LoveGame Chew Fu Remix Featuring. Marilyn Manson

I agree, this version is far better than the original (though I think the original is a bit underrated to be honest)

Kanye adds a lot to E.T., it's just average with Katy on her own but with added Kanye it's in my top 10 of the year.

The xx remix of Florence + The Machine's YGTL is incredible as well:

But that has almost none of Florence's original vocals

I agree much better than the original

I can't think of any to be honest, I'm not a huge fan of remixes anyway and not very keen on rappers being added to songs at all. Not that all remixes with added artists = a rapper being added though but in most cases it is and usually in place of the middle 8. Case in point being Higher by The Saturdays with Flo Rida shoe-horned in place of the great middle 8.

You chose one of the few songs that I feel a rapper actually severely adds to the song. :( Unlike Bad Boys where the commercial radio version was superior IMO.

Oh I know a lot of people prefer Higher with added Flo Rida, but I'm not really for rap in any form so it was never really going to sit that well with me, certainly not in place of Una's middle 8.

I love All night long with Pitbull. The arrangement of the song is different and makes the song slightly more urban.

I adore Nicki's minaj's verses on Drake's Best i ever had. Because the song is talking about a girl he has been with, it's nice for the song to centre on the female's point of view as well.

Drake Feat. Nicki Minaj - Best I Ever Had

I also like Nicki's verses on Willow Smith's Whip my hair. The original is meh but Nicki adds something to it that makes you forget your listening to a nine year old singing rather meh lyrics.

I felt Flo rida was pointless on both Higher and Bad Boys. Kanye however, ruins ET.

I deffo agree with Nicki's remix of Whip My Hair  Totally amazing! And also the new Till The World Ends remix

^ Definitely agree with All Night Long. I did love the bridge in the album version, but it was cool how they changed the instrumental and everything.

A new one I discovered today is a remix of Bass Down Low with Tinie Tempah.

I'm glad he's done it, because it's a great song, and it might help it get more airplay and sales if the Tinie version is sent to radio and put for download (which I doubt, but we can hope).

And another one I've liked for a while is a remix of Set Fire to the Rain with Gilbere Forte. You might know him from a remix of Alors on danse he did with Kanye West and Stromae (which is also very good). This remix is very good though. If you like Airplanes (Part II) by B.o.B, you might like it. It's very hip hop, since they change the percussion to hip hop percussion, and it's Gilbere rapping all three verses, with the hook being from the original.

Another one I like is this remix of Dynamite with Jennifer Lopez. Much better than the original. The song can get a bit boring, but J-Lo's vocals make it seem fresher imo, and they harmonize at the end which is nice.

I think Brit & Rihanna work really well imo..

That is GLORIOUS

Love this remix. They jumped on it right when it first came out too.

I loved the remix with Taio Cruz and Sugababes for She's Like A Star. There is another one with Sugababes and Busta rhymes. It isn't a remix i adore or play a lot but i feel Sugababes's vocals go well on the song and plus it was the only piece of music i liked from them as i never liked their Catfights and spotlights era.

I also like the Kylie version of Higher. I Liked the original but i think Kylie and Taio's vocals really connect well on it. I felt Travie mccoy's imput on the other version ruined it.

Dont know which is my fave but I gotta say I hate the S&M and TTWE remixes

Britney sounds amazingly awful on S&M and TTWE sounds a cheap mess. much prefer the original versions!

No f***ing kidding :o

Must have seemed random when it came out too. Shame it's not on iTunes :(

By the way I was going to do this song for the Buzzjack Factor when it looked like it was happening

I generally don't like remixes with featured artists, for me it's more a cover than a remix...
