Hang on... Tinie Tempah newie track should Travis be credited on it

From my understanding, Travis is credited on the remix, but the "single version" (although it's not a single, it's charting as an album track), is the Tinie solo version. Similar situation to what we have with S&M.

He's not credited on either version. He does appear on the Yes Remix but it's credited solely to Tinie.

Oh, yeah. All the youtube videos I watched credit it as "Tinie Tempah ft. Travis Barker", so I though that's how it actually was. The girl that sings the hook isn't credited either. :(

That's why I questioned it, as on the you tube video gets the credit, I wasn't sure of it. Thanks for the info.

"Morrissey gets his 38th hit with Glamorous Glue entering at #69. It' was never released as a single in the UK before but got to #13 in the USA in 1992."

On the Modern Rock Chart yes. It never reached the Hot 100. He has only one Hot 100 single: The More You Ignore Me, The Closer I Get (#46, 1994).

Why is it suddenly charting now?

Why is it suddenly charting now?

Because it was finally given a release. Morrissey songs never sell well on downloads but any new physical by him is guaranteed to get him a place on the chart. GG is a big step down from his last release though (a re-release of Everyday Is Like Sunday) which got to #42.

By the way, thanks for the correction SKOB. :D

The OCC are suddenly censoring their name and song title - it shows up as 'F**KSTICKS - K*** & THE GANG'. Strange as they didn't even censor 'Cunt' when UMAAAC got to #66 at Xmas

If anyone is wondering why I'm being inconsistent with censoring (I censor the Enrique, P!nk and Cee Lo songs but not KATG) it's because I consult the single covers in these situations. Fucksticks is uncensored there so I don't censor it either. :D

I'm pleased Rebecca managed to spend a month in the Top 75 despite not charting higher than #60! And :drama: at Parade  Awful chart run for them - 10-25-32-50-82-OUT!

I think that really caused quite a stir when it was released. Even now, if you type in "number 66 of" or something like that into Google, it comes up in the auto-complete menu (and all the search results are things like "What's that song at #66?").

What's with that Morrissey song? Why did it chart?

It did, it made No.69. Saw the vinyl copy in HMV this week, for £5 which is disgusting.

Had it been cheaper i may have bought it.

There was about 10 different versions including a clean version, Fiddlesticks (Mama's Milk) presumably meant for Radio if it went Top 40.

Disapointed with Gorillaz position in the albums after been number 4 in the midweeks, likewise with mike and the mechanice had a top 30 placing and ended up #46.

On a brighter note Kylie and Taio Cruz is higher than i thought it would be and great to see happy now by take that climbing for 2 weeks now.

Singles top 100 posted.

SO, new/re entries:

  • Sammy King gets his first hit with Penny Arcade entering at #47. It's a cover of the Roy Orbison song of the same name.

The original Roy Orbison version peaked at #27 in 1969 - it was to be his last hit for nearly 20 years.

The top 5 singles this week represent all 5 types of 'chart movement' (at least in terms of the top 40) - LMFAO are a non-mover, Wretch 32 is a new entry, Jennifer Lopez is a faller, Tracy Chapman is a re-entry and Chris Brown is a climber. :D
