next wednesday, and its available the same day- so that will at least raise awareness and make it climb the charts

3 Day promo and sales. They should be happy if it sells enough to enter top 15.

Does anyone have any idea why Radiohead are climbing back up? Could they actually knock Adele off the top?

I'm guessing.. no.

Blue holding pretty steady, they should finally get a Radio 1 play this afternoon then :cheer: Why in hell is Tracy Chapman climbing though :S

Aloe Blacc NEEDS top 10 now, bored of SLY.

I can asnwer this, the only thing I can think of, album sales must have increased over last week, as we only had 5 days of album sales with the 2 Bank Holidays in 1 week. And probably some people were not aware the limited edition was out last week, so it got lost among the holiday period.

I doubt it will knock Adele off though

How long has 19 been in the top 3 for? Has it been since 21 was released, or did it make top 3 even before the release of 21? I cant remember really..i think i recall it being top 3 before 21 was released? Maybe not though..but it feels like its been top 3 for so so long, which it has obviously!

Also is Set Fire To The Rain top 40?

'19' got to #1 when it was originally released and as high as #6 in the build up to the release of '21' - Also its chart run since the release of '21' is as follows -

19: 4-4-6-4-2-4-4-2-2-2-3-3-3-2 - Incredible achievement especially when you consider it only spent 7 weeks in the Top 10 previously.

Thanks for that Pop B!tch :) I remember it going to #1, I bought 19 first day it was out too. The comeback of it though has been incredible, bigger now then when it was released years ago! :o :w00t:

No - we'll list it if it creeps into the top 40.

Blue only down 1 :o Guetta and co will definitely knock it down, and I'm guessing a couple of other songs at least will pass it too, but I'd be ecstatic for #10 with it. I can see #11-13 though :(

Chris Brown Top 15 :D

Hoping his album can peak higher at some point, but I'm glad it hasn't had a big drop since it's release

With Tracy Chapman I can only guess that a lot of people didn't know the song until now. I don't know how much it's been played other than on the chart show but it looks as though it may be reaching a new audience. And a very good thing that is too :D

Im shocked Alexandra Stan is not top 40. :(
How come no one lists the whole Top 40 midweek chart here after Radio 1 announces it on a Wednesday afternoon? I'm guessing it's not allowed to be listed?

Edited by mango7

Radiohead weren't even top 40 yesterday, why are they #3 today? Errors I guess :drama: 19 will surely overtake it again by Sunday, but will it overtake Fleet Foxes too? I don't think it will TBH.

By the way spiidey, you've copied M!key's earlier mistake and listed JLo and Chris as both being #3. Please fix.

Let's put this to bed... officially Radio 1 are the only ones that are contracted from OCC to post it entirely in full form. If its posted on here or anyone else in full we are liable, as OCC holds the copyright. We are not authorised from OCC to post the whole 40 on here.

The Radiohead limited edition isn't in the shops, it was available for pre-order when the download first appeared online a couple of months back. They're only just starting to ship them out so I'm assuming they're still sending them this week and the sales are counting over 2 weeks.

I'm astonished they managed to sell so many at about £40 a time to keep it top 10 for two weeks though! :o

I really fail to understand how Adele has managed to worm her way back into the top 10 in favour of Mann's 'Buzzin'' with 50 Cent. The latter has been 3-4 places above it on iTunes for weeks, yet still manages to keep slipping out of the top 10 during the week - I imagine it'll land at #12 behind Adele come Sunday.

As for the big shake-ups, Chase and Status at #29 is an achievement and I imagine Dev's 'Bass Down Low' and Alexandra Stan are only going to climb. It seems Adele's 'Set Fire To the Rain' won't make it top 40 this week, it's at #39 on iTunes - not enough really to compete on downloads alone. Hopefully Wiz Khalifa's 'Roll Up' can worm in by Sunday though.

Note: Lady Gaga is at number 30 and number 33 with 'Judas' and 'Born This Way' - tumbles of 7 and 5 places respectively - will be interesting to see what the album does to these singles.

The chart run for Gaga's 'Judas' is currently (14-09-23-30) - A rather odd chart run, especially when that 30 will probably end up being 20-something come Sunday permitting video circulates enough and then afterwards is likely to go top 15 again.
