May 8, 201114 yr Next Sunday a short version of the chart show 6pm to 7pm :( Damn Radio 1 roadshow, one good thing the deadwood won't get played
May 8, 201114 yr He has a good voice but Grenade is a terrible song. JTWYA was good at first but got killed by overplay and I can barely sit through it awake any more. The Lazy Song on the other hand is actually very good. I think he should do more uptempo songs. Up-tempo songs? NO!! That would kill his USP. One of the reasons I love Bruno is cause he's distinctive in today's music scene. Not some identity-void "musician".

Born Stefani Germanotta in Yonkers in 1986, she attended the Tisch School of the Arts at NYU while performing at open-mic nights. A collaboration with rapper/producer Akon led to her signing with Interscope Records, which released her debut album THE FAME in October 2008. She scored a number one hit and a Grammy nomination with "Just Dance," which topped the charts in several other countries, but The Fame truly exploded in 2009 thanks to the single "Poker Face." May 8, 201114 yr I'm glad that Grenade doesn't have JTWYA-staying-power, the general public have suddenly realised what a crap song this is. I liked you Bruno when you were on other peoples songs  all your solo material has been rubbish (although I did like JTWYA at the time before it got overused and was old) Grenade is just :( for me. :( JTWYA too. Even Nothin' On You and Billionaire are kind of boring. The best thing I've heard from Bruno is Marry You.
May 8, 201114 yr That mix from Chris Brown 'Yeah 3x' into Lady GaGa 'Born This Way' was incredible! :o Could this receive a boost next week from the Glee episode? (As well as the Graham Norton performance)
May 8, 201114 yr Up-tempo songs? NO!! That would kill his USP. One of the reasons I love Bruno is cause he's distinctive in today's music scene. Not some identity-void "musician". I AGREE SOMEWHAT...THE CHART IS FULL OF ELECTRO-POP,RNB WHICH IS ELECTRONIC AND POP AND RIHANNA WHO MAKES ELECTRO-POP MUSIC.
May 8, 201114 yr Judas >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Born This Way. But Poker Face/Bad Romance are still leagues ahead of anything else she's done.
May 8, 201114 yr Up-tempo songs? NO!! That would kill his USP. One of the reasons I love Bruno is cause he's distinctive in today's music scene. Not some identity-void "musician". More up-tempo songs. Like The Lazy Song. I'm not suggesting he should become Taio Cruz
May 8, 201114 yr Born this way >>>>>>>>>> Judas in terms of song, but Judas >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> BTW in terms of video.
May 8, 201114 yr Re. Bruno doing uptempo songs. You should really give his album a listen. Seriously it's not all ballad, "OMG You're the best girl in the world" sort of ballads. It's a very, very nice mix and he has it just right, imo. 'Marry You' should be the next single though.
May 8, 201114 yr I hope a fresh song comes up soon, been a bit of a stale chart so far Unfortunately, we'll probably have Hello or Rolling In The Deep soon, so the old songs aren't over. ETA: Dev!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now that's better. Edited May 8, 201114 yr by Eyes
May 8, 201114 yr That mix from Chris Brown 'Yeah 3x' into Lady GaGa 'Born This Way' was incredible! :o Could this receive a boost next week from the Glee episode? (As well as the Graham Norton performance)lol I agree I like the way they did that, they should mix more songs like that into each other
May 8, 201114 yr I AGREE SOMEWHAT...THE CHART IS FULL OF ELECTRO-POP,RNB WHICH IS ELECTRONIC AND POP AND RIHANNA WHO MAKES ELECTRO-POP MUSIC. Bruno Mars makes RnB and pop songs though. Oh, sorry, he's done a couple of hip hop songs aswell. Bass Down Low is AMAZING!!!!! :w00t: :cheer:
