July 8, 201114 yr Slightly shocked to see fans saying "OMG there's too much Aston" "Why is Aston the only topless one?" Considering half the fanbase only like them because of Aston.. I thought they'd be happy  True. But I also find it annoying when groups I'm a fan of seem to place the focus on one member (even if I prefer him/her). I can see where they're coming from.
July 9, 201114 yr This is a weak version of Cobra Starships 'You Make Me Feel', it's near identical in places.
July 10, 201114 yr IMO it's a complete cheaper rip-off of On The Floor ('London to Jamaica, L.A to Africa') Yeahx3 (the tempo and structure) Til The World Ends ('oh oh oh oh oh' high then low) The Club Is Alive (which was dire itself) And the close up shots of JLS with sunglasses with the fire behind them is a complete rip off of the shot of Katy Perry and the sunglasses in the E.T video. And the intro to the video is a bit too similair to 'Glad You Came' as well.

Yep I'm sure they went into the studio before they'd even heard On The Floor, Yeah 3x & Till The World Ends & said to Red One "We want our next single to sound just like Chris Browns, Britneys and JLO's future singles" A lot of songs sound familiar to one another and yes She Makes Me Wanna is not original, but to claim they have ripped off songs like Yeah 3x.. which itself sounds just like I'm Not Alone and Eyes Wide Shut is just odd & As for the video.. It was filmed before The Wanted even announced they were off to Ibiza to shoot theirs. & I'm sure no one will wear glasses ever again in their music videos just so they can avoid copying Katy Perry
July 10, 201114 yr I'm far from JLS' biggest fan but yeah I'm pretty sure they recorded this before hearing OTF, Yeah3x and TTWE etc. Yes, maybe they did rip-off older comparisons you're making but not the 2011 songs. It's kind of a coincidence they sound similair. A lot of songs sound similair these days tbh...
July 10, 201114 yr Yeah 3x was around since like mid-2010 though, wasn't it? It's certainly possible that RedOne heard the song before he made the beat. They are very similar. I think the other comparisons aren't likely though, due to how recent they are (and they don't even sound alike anyway). I think the song sounds more like More by Usher and Dirty Dancer by Enrique Iglesias than Till the World Ends and On the Floor. And finally, there may be similarities with other music videos, but those really do not matter tbh. But to sum up, these club bangers we're getting in the chart atm NEED to go. It's getting absolutely ridiculous now. Edited July 10, 201114 yr by Eric_Blob
July 13, 201114 yr I think this is actually kind of catchy. Fair enough, it's generic not exactly brilliant but compared to the likes of 'The Club Is Alive' it's not that bad...
July 14, 201114 yr the only decent track was their debut one beat again, i actually thought that was a banging song when i first heard it. After that it all when wrong. they would be better if they didnt have a gullible fanbase who will buy anything as long as they take their tops off and sing a mix of generic nonsense. If they had to appeal to the general music community in the UK (cos they are never going to break Europe or the US) then they might actually release some good material. Like i said when they didnt know they had a fanbase they produced good music, now they can release any old rubbish like CIA and this new song and watch them go number 1 for a week and fall out of the top 40 the next...both wouldnt even make a jedward b side Edited July 14, 201114 yr by jay727
September 8, 201113 yr The album title was announced today as Jukebox. It's alright, a lot better than their last two album's titles - I doubt the music will be as good as the final two singles from the second album though. Source
September 8, 201113 yr Have I said that I LOVE this song? It took a while to get over the generic factor but it's as catchy as hell and I love Dev's bits ("It's Dev, and JLS.")

It's alright, a lot better than their last two album's titles - I doubt the music will be as good as the final two singles from the second album though. Source Probably not, but at least the first single is a lot better! The album title is okay, very familiar-sounding though. I live in hope that some day they manage to go through a campaign with three really good singles as for me it's gone: JLS: Very good, average, pretty good Outta This World: Awful, pretty good, decent Jukebox: Okay
September 8, 201113 yr Jukebox is such a generic album title  How apt! Still gonna give it a listen at the least, I didn't mind the other 2 albums.
September 9, 201113 yr Author Jukebox  Well I guess it's a better name than Outta this world.. I can just imagine them sitting there and saying "Oh look there's a jukebox. It's got different songs on it like our new album"
September 9, 201113 yr I love how a lot of people are complaining how similar this is to "On The Floor" considering it's by the producer, and let's face it, he's not gonna give his best work to some competition winners (didn't they win some charity auction to work with him?)
September 9, 201113 yr The 'LA to Africa' bit does seem like a carbon rip-off from 'On The Floor' to me. Though I doubt it's their fault because they don't write their own material do they? But it still seems like they turned a bit of a blind eye to it and even said they think this track will take them global (where have we heard that before...) but the track won't go global just because it has state, country or continent names in it! Also what a horrible album name, and this is from someone who actually liked their first era. :(
September 9, 201113 yr Though I doubt it's their fault because they don't write their own material do they? They do indeed write their own material. All of Outta This World, bar The Club Is Alive, was written by them. Unsure of the first album. :) I'm sure they'd have written it before On The Floor was out though (when actually was it out?)...
September 9, 201113 yr Not a great title, I'd agree with anyone who has said 'Outta This World' is better. They have writing credits on nine tracks from the first album I think, but not the singles. 'On The Floor' wasn't OUT into February in the US (March in the UK?) but it leaked at the start of January, I can find a BJ thread on here which dates back to January 15th. Anyone get tour tickets this morning? I did, quite near the stage at Sheffield ^_^
