May 18, 201115 yr Author What a boring week. Retro year anyone? Curious for the new A&B track though.
May 18, 201115 yr Their jumping on the Pitbull band wagan. Calvin Harris went from C List to A List  and I'm glad Panic at The Disco's new song has gone up to B. Loving that one at the moment.
May 18, 201115 yr so now they support Pitbull at last, when he's heading to number 1  considering they totally snubbed Olly's debut song until it proved popular, I'm surprised they've A-listed Busy :o I think that Ed Sheeran song could be a surprise hit :o its doing very well on pre-orders and it isn't out until June 12th, Bounce up to A-list already, I think that could be a big hit too Edited May 18, 201115 yr by chart wizard
May 18, 201115 yr The Foster the People song is called 'Pumped Up Kicks', I've edited it for you. From the additions I've heard, a decent week for additions. Good to see Ed on the B-List too, hope it can progress further.
May 18, 201115 yr Only thing really interesting is them adding Pitbull. Guess they can't have a possible number 1 not being played. (Unless of course it's Alexandra Burke -_- ) Good to see them clear out a few older tracks, but the rest are just expected moves really.

May 18, 201115 yr ^Haven't noticed any for a while, but they always seem to jump on it at least after it becomes a hit.
May 18, 201115 yr The Foster the People song is called 'Pumped Up Kicks', I've edited it for you. That's Euphorique's error, not R1's. It says 'Kicks' on the site. Anyway, disappointed to see Pitbull getting added to the playlist to be honest. If they're going to have a grudge against him for no reason they should stick to their guns even when it is about to be #1. Not really that interested in any of the new C-List additions, haven't heard Jason Derülo's new one yet and the other artists don't particularly interest me. The last singles by Above & Beyond and Benjamin Francis Leftwich were decent. I've heard the Brookes Brothers song and it's okay. And Hard-Fi? Seriously? Why are they still being playlisted... Great to see Vato on the C-List though even if it is an inferior version of the song and even if it should have been given a push months ago. Not a big fan of the new DJ Fresh song, I do like the Jakwob one though :D
May 18, 201115 yr They've had several #1s not playlisted. The only #1s since I started following the charts (in early 2009) that they haven't playlisted are Killing In The Name, All Time Low and Start Without You. Unless I'm forgetting any.
May 18, 201115 yr I didn't realise they hadn't added Pitbull before now. Odd. Another boring week of additions as per usual.
May 18, 201115 yr Author The only #1s since I started following the charts (in early 2009) that they haven't playlisted are Killing In The Name, All Time Low and Start Without You. Unless I'm forgetting any. Well obviously there aren't gonna be many if you only include 2 years...
May 18, 201115 yr I didn't realise they hadn't added Pitbull before now. Odd. They definitely seem to have something against Pitbull. They never playlisted Shut It Down or Hey Baby (Drop It To The Floor), they only playlisted Hotel Room Service after it went top 10 and on the chart show they chose to play no-Pitbull edits of I Like It and DJ Got Us Fallin' In Love after those two songs had been in the chart for a while. Very odd, it's not as if he's done anything bad to R1 (apart from collaborate with Alexandra Burke ofc)
May 18, 201115 yr Author He's just an artist Radio 1 dont like, Shakira, Anastacia, Enrique Iglesias, amongst others were/are constantly snubbed thoughout their careers with a few exceptions.
May 18, 201115 yr Glad they've added Foster The People, love that song. I'm surprised Beyonce's still on the playlist, thought they'd have dropped it by now after its epic flop. Even more surprised that Foo Fighters isn't A-list yet :o
May 18, 201115 yr Jason DeRulo!!! Who wants to bet he'll suffer the 'second album' slump this era, though? :(
May 18, 201115 yr He's just an artist Radio 1 dont like, Shakira, Anastacia, Enrique Iglesias, amongst others were/are constantly snubbed thoughout their careers with a few exceptions. I've never understood why they have snubbed Shakira and Enrique. They both produced hits, even if the former is quite inconsistent in that respect, and aren't exactly producing anything different from J.Lo (Enrique) or...well I guess Shakira is a genre of her own. But anyone would think R1 have something against Latino/Spanish/Colombian people.
May 18, 201115 yr :yahoo: Amazing to see Calvin on the A-List. This needs to be a number one SMASH! Also nice to see Pitbull on there finally, even though the only reason its there is because it could get to number one. After all the pre-orders, I thought DJ Fresh would be at least C-listed, it'll probably climb though and get a good chart position (not number one please so that Calvin can have some weeks there) :)
