Those don't rhyme to me.

Chorus and notorious definitely rhyme.

You can pronounce Notorious like "No-tor-yus" to make them rhyme.

You *can*, but it makes you sound retarded.

It doesn't have a BIG chorus. I hate when Sats fans say there's no chorus because it's quite obvious the "i'm the outlaw, i'm the big boss, i'm the gangsta on the dancefloor" part is the chorus (that's why it's in it after every verse!), just because it's not a huge chorus doesn't mean there isn't one.

It's a refrain, not a chorus.

Chorus and notorious definitely rhyme.

How do they? That's like saying 'station' and 'fun' rhyme.

That's probably not the best example for the point I'm trying to make.

Has a Romanian act charted this high since The Cheeky Girls?

Edward Maya and Vika Jigulina! Inna as well possibly?

IMHO Aloe Blacc is kind of better. But it's nice to FINALLY have some variety in the top 5 :D

Edward Maya got to #4.

It isn't at all as they're different 'un' sounds - 'stay-sh'n' vs. 'fuhn'. The 'us' sounds in chorus and notorious are identical.

What, like Boom Boom Pow?

lol, no! Boom Boom Pow doesn't follow the verse/chorus/bridge structure that most songs do. Infact, a lot of post-E.N.D. Black Eyed Peas songs don't. The only one of their singles that completely follow it is Meet Me Halfway. I Gotta Feeling you have to wait for like 2 minutes for the song to actually begin. :drama: Rock That Body and Don't Stop the Party are those types of songs like OMG (produced by will.i.am, maybe he likes doing that sort of stuff ) which just seem to be like one long chant. Imma Be and Just Can't Get Enough are like 2 different songs attached together. The Time is close to the normal structure, but it lacks a bridge.

I was being sarcastic to point out that Boom Boom Pow didn't have a chorus and therefore it was possible for pop songs to not have choruses :P

Inna's biggest hit peaked at #6 (Hot) ^_^

As I say, that's a bad example. But the last vowel sound rhyming does not equal a rhyme. Chorus is 'or-us' and Notorious os 'or-ee-us'. Those do not rhyme. Chorus rhymes with 'thesaurus'. Notorious rhymes with 'glorious'. They do not rhyme with each other.

Of course they rhyme! How the hell do you pronounce them?!
