So Louis seems to have chosen Goldie AND Johhny :blink: WHAT A JOKE. Happy with the girls and boys, perfect choices in borh, though I'd swapped Janet or Melanie for Jade and Frankie for well ANYONE.

How ridiculous. Maybe they should just SCRAP THE GROUPS altogether seeing as there is barely anyone who makes the finals who isn't orginally in a group. :wacko:

The groups situation is becoming ridiculous! Pulling a member out of an original band to put in a new one is wrong! Literally no groups are anywhere near good enough to compete in the final. I'd rather they just pick the 16 best artists rather than having 4 of each.

I read that a few weeks back - absolutely bloody ridiculous what they're doing with the groups! I really lost a bit of respect for Tulisa after this ... up until now (apart from her sniggering at that Ceri Rees woman - when her own mother allegedly suffers / suffered from a mental illness) she was my favourite judge. They're all proving to be Cowell Clones though now!

 

I just hope ANYONE wins other than Gary Barlow!

I have no problem with the groups being made and re-arranged as they are attempting to find a good strong group.

 

My favourite group apparently got through so I'm content.

I really think Tulisa has got the worst category - not one group from throughout the auditions stages impressed me. Ok, maybe The Keys at first but they butchered 'You Got The Love' and I was put off straight away.

 

So yes, absolutely nothing. I wouldn't be at all surprised come week 1 of the live finals, the bottom two will both be from the groups category - most likely the girl groups.[/predictable].

The problem with the overs is that there are actually a lot of good ones this year but Louis will always put the duff ones through for entertainment value. If they'd given the category to someone else it might be different. I think I'll hate the finals this year because most of my favourites are from the overs and will likely not make it due to Louis f**king Walsh.

 

Like I said, I think categories need to go. There are NEVER enough groups that are up to the standard and often some of the categories have more than 4 good singers with potential. But the problem with this show is that it's always been more about the judges than the contestants and that is why categories come in to play. Last year one of my friends wanted Matt to win in the final just so 'Cheryl won't win for a third time' even though they liked Rebecca. Don't get me wrong, I wanted Matt to win but because he was my favourite not because of who mentored him.

its becoming slightly pointless that groups even audition, as they'd just be all mixed up by Judges Houses (by one of the judge's 'bright ideas' that just happens to come to them when a camera's on them :D ) its becoming a bit of a joke, the Overs are alas already one, it seems young Boys or Girls are the preference nowadays

It seems like everyone expects her to be a front runner but there isn't actually a whole lot of hype or excitement surrounding her.

 

 

I really hope Louis has picked

but there were far stronger acts.

like Carolynne or even Terry (I'm assuming here that Sammy has made it to the lives)

I don't tend to do that either. It is really tempting to read them though. I've got a few of the obvious spoilers, where I couldn't resist, but I'm keeping myself rather unspoiled for now. As soon as lives start, I'm going back and reading them all, though. It's interesting.
