I have heard and seen Jason's video quite a bit now actually. I think if he is released on Sunday, he should go top 10.

 

Hoping there is a clearing of the top 10 this coming week with Example, Jason Derulo, Nicola Roberts and Coldplay.

Nicola Roberts has even less chance of going top 10 than Jason :lol:

I'd imagine the song would have more of a Ridin' Solo chart run really (minus all those weeks at the beginning where it hung around in the top 100). I've heard it on the radio a grand total of once. :lol:

I'll be gobsmacked if Nicola Roberts goes top 10. Only just premiered to radio, isn't exactly a golden pop nugget that'll be remembered in 10 years time (mark my words ;) ) and there's no video. As for Coldplay, I also think even with the massive initial boost of sales, they'll probably do what Take That 'Love Love' did and enter inside the official top 20 before plummeting down.

 

Example should definitely go top 10 - I do hope he gets that #1 smash. Even if Derulo is also released.

I absolutely LOVE the song. Really hope it proves to be successful for her...and I think it probably will.

Coldplay releasing at the same time as the other releases will improve their chances of going top 10 a lot. Midweek releases have stopped quite a few indie songs from going top 10 (Arctics - CL, Muse - NSC and Coldplay's own CL). ETIAW will almost certainly have a crappy chart run though.

Derulo's song is dreadful, and this is coming from someone who bought (and LOVED) his album last year. Very generic, and dreadful chorus.

The song is better than In My Head, and probably about as good as What If imo. It's not as good as The Sky's The Limit or Whatcha Say though, and definitely not as good as Ridin' Solo (but let's face it, nothing is).

Who are you kidding? If 'Not A Love Song' can't go top 100 with some good promotional performances, good TV airplay and some radio airplay, then Starlight has no chance as there has been no promo or airplay for this all together.

NALS was released on a Friday, to be fair and for some reason didn't chart in the top 200 at all even though it was as high as #65 on iTunes.

 

And i've seen Starlight as a VIP play on The Box and seen it quite alot on the A-List Playlist and ChartShowTV.

So JLS are on BGT tomorrow replacing Chris Brown who was orignally planned for Friday's show (Still Banned) such a shame, would of been nice to have BP get a boost above Snoop with Sweat and a nice performance, I like JLS but their performances don't excite me.

Yeah, their performances don't really excite me either (although they are good singers). :(

 

They excite loads of teenage girls though, so from that perspective they'd draw in the viewers. Same with Chris Brown.

 

It would be awesome if Dev turned up and performed with them, and then for some unknown reason she started singing Bass Down Low and it went top 10. :kink: IN MY DREAMS. :(
