Ah the Record Company realising how bad it is doing and trying to save it

Nope, I think it fits in perfectly with the tour just being announced so it can go back in the top 25 on iTunes and top 30 in Official charts before the release next week!

Miss Keri Baby is at #136 with 'Pretty Girl Rock'. How is it climbing? Is the video actually being played on music channels? I doubt radio is on her side with this one either -_-.

and Nicki is back up to 13 :D (With Dev at 12!)

I wouldn't buy Notorious if it was reduced to 29p :(

BTW, how high do people think sales would be if illegal downloads were allowed because I dont know anyone who buys any music legally

I'm assuming you're a girl?

Do you not like it Eric hun? :(

I don't really listen to the radio but while helping in a charity shop today (I'm a lovely person, ok?) I heard it on Kiss, so I guess it is getting some radio play!

I was quite surprised to hear it tbh!

Very high.

But I think the chart would be very different if illegal downloads were counted.

For example, Love Love probably wouldn't be in the top 100, and Spaceship would probably be #1 with a massive lead.

I'm pretty sure I saw it on 4music's top 20 of the week, or something like that?

I just wish that 'The Lazy Song', 'I Need A Dollar' and 'Party Rock Anthem' will fall out of the top 10 sooner rather than later, so that either 'I'm Into You', 'Bass Down Low', 'Super Bass' or 'California King Bed' can get into the top 10. (Hopefully 'Super Bass' as that hasn't got top 10 officially yet)

You're forgetting the part about Kiss being an incredible radio station, so of course it'll be playing Keri Hilson!

I've heard it on Radio 1Xtra aswell (I think there's a remix of it that they're playing). But other than that, nothing. :(

Im not really liking the chart atm. Im not a huge fan of Example, Calvin Harries or that other random guy :(

I'm not liking the chart either really. It's just SOOOOO boring and a lot of it sounds the same to me. :( There's a couple of gems, but it's really, really poor at the moment. 2011 is shaping up to be possible the worst year for chart music of my life. We're in June, and nothing's happened. :(

Id quite like that

It's true though really. We discussed this once actually. Fans of artists like Take That and Adele are much less likely to illegally download than fans of artists such as N-Dubz and Professor Green, for example. If illegal downloads were included, Ed Sheeran's sales would probably double, but Tinchy Styrder's would probably increase 10-fold.

Do you not like it Eric hun? :(

I don't not like it. It's a good song, just the sort of thing I know girls would love. Bruno's voice, just has that effect.

Also, does anybody know why all of Take That's album is falling btw? Surely that's literally impossible in a 48 hour chart? Some of the songs have fallen over 10 places aswell, so it's full-on falling.

The Saturdays  #30

I wouldn't get too excited, unfortunately :/ It should rise to #26 or so at the speed it's at now, but if they bring the price back up to 99c it'll fall again...

Possibly. Although it's still strange, because they've fallen very far now. A lot of songs are overtaking them, not just two or three, and what makes it even more peculiar is that Tuesday usually has lower sales than Monday. If it's a 48 hour chart, the other songs should be gradually losing their Sunday sales, and getting their Tuesday sales, so they should fall in comparison seeing as Sunday>Monday>Tuesday in terms of sales. And Lighters, for example, which is in exactly the same position as the Take That songs (i.e. album track, released on Monday) is still climbing.

I like how 'Run the World (Girls)' appears to actually be having some stability now. :D
