Ok, fair enough. It was an uninspiring choice of song to enter. Why anyone would give it 12 points even if it was a Britney demo is beyond me - especially with such high quality elsewhere. I guess some nations are easily pleased. :kink:

You were lucky that you entered the remixed version of 'Big Bang'. I decided to check out the original version to see how it compared and it sounded like a limp, lifeless album track reject by Maroon 5. The remix you used brought the song to life. :D

OK I've had a half-assed go at making a recap video for tonight, but it's just not happening and I've now got to go out. If anybody would like to do them, then they get a special treat in the form of an exclusive first listen to the songs a whole 2 and a half hours before the semi-finals open! :o

 

I know that recap videos aren't a huge deal nowadays though, so if you guys aren't bothered then that's fine by me, neither am I! :P

I didn't start doing my recap videos until the semi final thread was already open. Iirc, I did my recap videos on the Wednesday - three days after opening the voting thread on that Sunday. So there's still plenty of time to do recap videos if you so wish.

Trawling through my old national thread and posts from 2008, look what I uncovered;

 

After finishing 18th twice in the first two BJ Song Contests, Rontvia has decided not to go with another female singer and has selected Glorious by Andreas Johnson to represent it in BJSC3

If we remember Believe Again barely got points from Ashton (Although to be fair the Live version you entered wasn't exactly spectacular, like an early NGDA.) and Smack Me iirc only scraped a 6.
