June 14, 201114 yr Like I said in the iTunes thread, good to have something different in the Top Forty for a change (a ballad about drugged up prostitutes I grant you) - rather than generic US urban/dance tracks, mostly involving the abomination of decent 90s European music which seem to have taken over recently. Also has Dappy been banned from the chart for being a TWAT (wishes this to be the case)?

June 14, 201114 yr What, Nerina Pallot top ten on the albums? :o :o :o It won't last sadly for her but after the flop of her last album that's a huge upturn in fortunes! Especially seeing as it's only being stocked in HMV, and not very prominently. Glad to see Take That back at #1, although that was a rather foregone conclusion wasn't it, if there's any force bigger in the UK than even Adele then it's them... Also, Sophie top 20, Caro back up to #12 in the albums and Ludovico climbing in the singles chart - pretty amazing first set of mids by all account! Well apart from the singles #1, people think Ed Sheeran's bland? Bounce is music to cure insomnia, if that's supposed to be a club anthem then I'll stay at home - it doesn't go anywhere at all :lol:

Tinchy Stryder's single only seems to be available on iTunes and nowhere else (well, it's not on Amazon, HMV or Play) so it would explain why it's not appearing in this set of mid weeks. Also, it would explain why it doesn't correlate with the iTunes chart as closely as it usually would.
