Possibly. I still think I am a week out for 2010, but I am sure I haven't skipped a week

Adele is not amused Jester, not amused at all -_-

Legendary Frankie Laine (RIP) will have his first charting album since 1977.

His song I Believe holds the record of most weeks at number one on singles chart (18).

For some reason I read that first sentence as if he'd only just died!

But yeah, I thought it was a bit strange to see him in the albums chart.

As he was #7 in the very first singles chart with 'High Noon', he'll beat Vera Lynn's record of longest chart span (including both charts obviously - he didn't make the albums chart until 1961 and his last single to chart was also in 1961)

EDIT: He was also at #8 in the first singles chart with 'Sugarbush' (a collaboration with Doris Day)

She is rarely amused.

Okay. I think this will actually be the last week in the top 40 for Yeah 3x. Assuming it doesn't get another price cut.

Not playing the chart update #1 again - seems they've permanently scrapped that (and they're not giving away the number of new entries, fallers and climbers either).

Yeah 3X gets yet another week top 40. This era has been massive for Chris Brown! (Unfortunately it looks like he's going to inflict more Bieber-related headaches on the UK with his next single - not impressed)

The bit where they say "JUMP JUMP JUMP JUMP" reminds me of Jump by Flo Rida and Nelly Furtado from a few years ago.

Thanks! That's great trivia for my weekly blog.

This weeks charts are all about him then.. Him and the fact that Kelis is still without a number one.

Lady GaGa is a dance-pop singer from New York City. Born Stefani Germanotta in Yonkers in 1986, she attended the Tisch School of the Arts at NYU while performing at open-mic nights. A collaboration with rapper/producer Akon led to her signing with Interscope Records, which released her debut album THE FAME in October 2008. She scored a number one hit and a Grammy nomination with "Just Dance," which topped the charts in several other countries, but The Fame truly exploded in 2009 thanks to the single "Poker Face." By 2010, Gaga was one of the biggest stars in the world, aided by her new EP The Fame Monster and its single "Bad Romance." - HMV

Looks like POG may have helped this to *just* cling onto the top 40 for one final (?) week! Hopefully it hasn't knocked Rolling In The Deep out... although I bet it has :(

Yeah x3 is such a tune. :D Amazed at how well it's done for a #6 peak!
There's a sound in the Britney remix of S&M that sounds a bit like the sound that's in Born This Way in the middle of the chorus.
Born This Way is still here? Considering how badly it was doing at the beginning of the week...

It got a late boost from her performance on Paul O'Grady. :P
