Perhaps there were fewer made because it was significantly her worst performing SAW album….it has great artwork, it’s my fave of the box sets. Maybe this is why it’s the most valuable now?

Get Outta My Way :cheeseblock: Smash!

I wish Padam Padam could get to #1 on airplay  Very impressive run on radio so far though!

JUSTICE for Get Outta My Way! :cheer:

For a song that only spent two weeks in the top 40 in the download era, that really is so impressive! Although I know it sort of has developed a "cult" fanbase in the years since.

'Get Outta My Way' was on 139,900 as of w/e 25 July 2019, so has averaged 292 chart sales in the 206 weeks since. I was estimating its average to be about 100 chart sales lower (although granted this was before Kylie's most streamed singles was updated)!

It was on 100k pure sales as of March 2018 and that total will have barely increased since then, so it has more or less a 50/50 split between its sales and streams. It was revealed as Kylie's 14th most streamed song last month:

11 ON A NIGHT LIKE THIS KYLIE MINOGUE 2000 2

12 STOP ME FROM FALLING KYLIE MINOGUE 2018 52

13 I SHOULD BE SO LUCKY KYLIE MINOGUE 1987 1

14 GET OUTTA MY WAY KYLIE MINOGUE 2010 12

15 AT CHRISTMAS KYLIE MINOGUE 2016 N/A

16 IN YOUR EYES KYLIE MINOGUE 2002 3

17 MAGIC KYLIE MINOGUE 2020 53

18 MUSIC'S TOO SAD WITHOUT YOU KYLIE MINOGUE & JACK SAVORETTI 2018 N/A

19 ESPECIALLY FOR YOU KYLIE MINOGUE & JASON DONOVAN 1988 1

20 REAL GROOVE KYLIE MINOGUE & DUA LIPA 2020 95

'Get Outta My Way' having ~100k chart sales come from streaming certainly helps estimating totals for songs around it. I already estimated 'On a Night Like This' to be on ~280k which makes sense given it was on 170k pure sales in 2014; 'I Should Be So Lucky' should have passed 800k (703k pure sales in 2018); 'In Your Eyes' is on a similar amount to 'On a Night Like This'; 'Especially for You' on 1.1m. Also nice to know a fair few of Kylie's BMG singles are more or less over 100k too when you factor in pure sales.

Thank you Liam.k. So all those listed on 11-20 above will be 100k or more given they all have various levels of pure sales?

Pleased GOOMW has gone silver, it deserved much more initial success but has managed to become one of her better known singles.

Kylie’s biggest UK streaming list really helps us appreciate that just because a song may be bigger on Spotify, best example In Your Eyes, doesn’t mean it’ll all be UK Streams, plus other streaming sites may have very different popular tracks.

You sure it’s not AI? There’s been a lot of Britney AI vocals appearing on Kylie songs recently.

Yeah, there is one for Padam Padam doing the rounds too

Oh maybe then!!!!!!! LOL

It is the AI version that you heard, but Britney was indeed offered Get Outta My Way. Her team wasn't swift enough in their reaction, though, so Kylie snatched it.

Golden and Disco pretty much similar so very consistent pattern for both, sadly its unlikely neither will reach platinum even though both deserve it. Good to see SBIT over 200k with Kylie back it should help get the album a few extra streams and the album will go platinum but not sure how long it would take, i wonder is this time 2 years in some way realistic.

If we assume Disco averages 250 units weekly, it should hit platinum by its 12th anniversary in 2032. While that may seem like a long while, this doesn't take into account any increments in its sale due to vinyl re-issues for its anniversaries and such, and those alone should speed up the process by several months, if not years.

There's also the fact that music consumption and catalogue sales are rising year-by-year (even Kylie's own catalogue has increased massively in streams as of late). That should result in the album moving more streaming units as the years go by, and we're not even taking into account some song from the album taking off on social media (though that's highly unlikely).

All things considered, Disco will most likely hit platinum sometime in the next 10 years, and almost certainly at some point in the next 20 years.
