Some estimates for weekly and total sales, based on previous totals that have been given:

1,404 Can't Get You Out of My Head 1,642,000 [1.37m in July 2019; 1.53m in September 2021]

684 Spinning Around 494,000 [361k in July 2019; 400k in August 2020]

576 Dancing 274,000 [162k in July 2019; 200k in October 2020]

349 All the Lovers 508,000 [400k in February 2017; 440k in July 2019]

279 On a Night Like This 271,000 [200k in May 2018; 217k in July 2019]

220 Wow 278,000 [235k in July 2019; 268k in June 2022]

219 Higher 412,000 [370k in July 2019; 400k in March 2022]

151 I Believe in You 221,000 [192k in July 2019; 200k in July 2020]

The last known totals for 'All the Lovers' and 'On a Night Like This' were just as 'Step Back in Time: The Definitive Collection' was released and that collection helped increase Kylie's streaming ('Head' started selling 300 more each week, for instance), so both these songs may be selling more than the average given.

'Can't Get You Out of My Head' will have had a slight increase from the Peggy Gou remix which isn't reflected in the weekly average given.

Not sure if 'Dancing' is still averaging that much, my instinct is that it's slightly lower.

I'm guessing 'Slow' is averaging 150-200 a week which would put its total between 183k-193k, so still a while to go for that Silver certification. '2 Hearts' will be lucky to be averaging just 50 a week, should be on ~180k. I think 'Get Outta My Way' could be selling a similar amount to 'Slow' which would put its total at 169k-179k.

^ 150k above its 2000 end of year total. Definitely deserves to be among her biggest sellers but I'll take it.

I'm curious as to how close 'Love at First Sight' is to Gold. I feel like it could be shifting a similar amount to 'Spinning Around' - if it's as much as 700 a week then it would be on 400k right now, drop it to 600 a week then it would be on 380k and would be certified Gold in December 2023.

It's sold 136k in 198 weeks which works out at an average of 687 per week, basically the same as 'Spinning Around' as I suggested in the post above just a month ago!

This certification also means 'Love at First Sight' now has a placing in Kylie's Top 10 biggest songs!

Deserves a gold cert…..those 2002-5 releases really suffered from being released in an evaporating CD sales period. Nice they’re getting some streaming benefit now.

Wonder what IYE is on given it’s now accelerating ahead on Spotify…..though of course it might be behind on other streaming platforms and it might be more popular internationally.

In July 2019 the yearly average for In Your Eyes was 8k compared to 20k for Love at First Sight. It’ll have increased since then (Love at First Sight is now managing 35k per year, up 75%) - if we say In Your Eyes has experienced a similar increase (now shifting 14k a year) it would be averaging 269 per week and have a total of 256k. It’s weekly sales could be higher than that given its popularity on Spotify, but I think that’s due to its popularity worldwide, like I don’t think it’s weekly sales would be anymore than 400. Definitely still below the 300k mark in total sales.
For a single that's been endearing to not just her fans, it's taken a long time to reach gold status.

It came out on the back of CGYOOMH so was never likely to be that successful given the album fever had also sold over a million. I think it’s done well in light of the circumstances!

Sooo overdue! It should be a million seller honestly x

Honestly if it was released in the streaming era it definitely would be and all the singles from the album would be Platinum. ‘Head’ would be one of those 3m+ sellers.

Ya the fever era would have massive numbers in the streaming era, head would be a blinding lights type success from the weeknd.
