I'd like to think albums such as disco are experiencing mini hikes on streaming on the back of padam padam bringing kylies name to the forefront. I know it will take a long time to happen but I wonder if it happens which from golden and disco will make platinum first.

I think obviously Disco, that's already ahead and sells stronger.

Mainly due to the sub £10 vinyl they are trying to shift via Amazon :kink: :smoke:

While i slightly prefer Disco myself to Golden i thought maybe Golden may have a better chance as it might have more streaming power from the singles such as dancing and music's too sad without you, they have both built up fairly decent sales since their release.

Disco performs much better than Golden on Spotify. These are worldwide daily streams, from a couple of days ago:

Who'd have thought it would be A Second to Midnight that would end up having the most endurance?

^ Crazy to see that Say Something alone is outstreaming the entirety of Golden, and it's not even the third most streamed track from Disco.

Not 100% sure if anyone will have this information, but does anyone have an all-time list of artists who have spent the most weeks in the singles chart (be it top 10, top 40, top 75, top 100 etc)?

Basically, I'm curious to see if 'Padam Padam' adding weeks for Kylie is helping her ascend the ranks at all!

I'm surprised by the Disco/Golden numbers I wrongly thought tracks from Golden such as Dancing were streaming higher. Based on this Disco is well ahead weekly of Golden. With all the great songs on both albums I'm slightly disappointed a second to midnight is the song doing the best as there are far far better songs than it.

Wow I hadn't noticed that, that is remarkable! Let's hope there's another uplift in her streaming for Tension as well.

That would be interesting to find out. I bet if you ask in the Charts forum, there'll be someone there who knows!

I've tried Wikipedia in numerous ways

Although if it is indeed on there and anyone can point me in the right direction, you'll have my eternal gratitude. ^_^

Oh Friday will be Kylie's 500th week in the Top 75 singles chart :o She's also just 17 weeks away from 500 in the Top 75 albums chart... can Tension last that long, I wonder  No doubt it'll be during this era that she passes 1000 weeks combined in both Top 75 charts (she's on 982 at the moment).

But that's only because it also has Years & Years fans streaming it too.

I can’t believe I can’t find this info! I’m sure it used to be readily available. It was always in the Guinness books.

Used to buy all those Guinness Hits Singles books.

Fingers crossed for a lengthy chart run for PP, even in ACR….and a couple more runs from Tension plus a re entry by Santa Baby keep the top 75 week total increasing.

Album wise, that might be tough though if it’s streaming and physical sales keep trickling in then who knows….plus outside chance of SBIT/ Disco reappearing when Tension is released/ Radio 2 concert or if a tour is announced.

Praying for a Body Language vinyl to mark its 20 Year Anniversary….top 75 week a bonus.

Used to buy all those Guinness Hits Singles books.

Bloody LOVED those books! Had them all back in the day.
