July 28, 201113 yr Nothing is as good as We Own the Sky. This tbh. The video in all it's kite-flying, american apparel-parading splendour is glorious. That said Midnight City is still wonderful. I would give all the  's in the world to M83 had I the time.
July 29, 201113 yr It's a double album? My excitement for this has just more than halved. After knowing Midnight City for just over a week I have most of my excitement back, I think it's already one of the singles of the year.
July 29, 201113 yr Midnight City is by FAR my favourite song at the moment. I love every M83 album to date, they really have never put a foot wrong so far...
July 30, 201113 yr Author Midnight City is by FAR my favourite song at the moment. I love every M83 album to date, they really have never put a foot wrong so far... Literally like a male Ladytron to me...
August 1, 201113 yr 'Midnight City' is proving dangerous for me...at the moment I would far rather listen and dance to it than eat/drink/sleep/live life. SO DAMN GOOD.
August 9, 201113 yr I don't like these scary faces he's got going on! Other than that, I haven't been this excited about an album for a LONG time if Midnight City is anything to go by
August 9, 201113 yr The full stops on the album cover are awful! Other than that, I like it. edit: I swear I didn't intentionally copy Chris' post format, ha! Edited August 9, 201113 yr by Harve
August 9, 201113 yr Played this in the car when I had my mp3 player on random and bugger me, it started sounding so good! Hadn't got into this before that.
August 10, 201113 yr Author I think the font is where the general problems lie. We are not in the late 90s here with a random car insurance advert....
August 11, 201113 yr I think the font is where the general problems lie. We are not in the late 90s here with a random car insurance advert.... I was just going to mention the font, so hideous. I'm pretty sure the only artwork that hasn't been atrocious was 'Saturdays = Youth'. Edited August 11, 201113 yr by ▲▲▲
August 16, 201113 yr The boy from the cover's very Where The Wild Things Are.. looking through their other album covers it's at least the best from a bad bunch! Late getting into this like I am with eveything but I saw Midnight City in Casey's personal chart and now I'm officially addicted.
August 30, 201113 yr f*** me, this has leaked! TRANSCODE AAC version, but STILL <3 Edited August 30, 201113 yr by Ljósið
August 31, 201113 yr This album is revelationary to me; Midnight City took a few plays to stick and I have never heard of them before that, but the album as a whole blew me away on first listen, I enjoyed every track, and was overwhelmed by the music a good few times. The highlights for me atm are the Intro; Where the Boats Go (stunning short piece of music); Wait; Raconte-Moi Une Histoire; Soon, My Friend and my overall favourite Echoes of Mine. Glorious - I don't think I will be listening to much of anything else for a while.
August 31, 201113 yr This album is mesmerizing! Really, REALLY loving it! I think it could be the first M83 album I purchase! Incredible stuff
September 1, 201113 yr I can't be the only person disappointed with this? There is definitely an excellent album SOMEWHERE beneath the unnecessary amounts of filler and fizzled out ideas.
