In My Place is really plummetting :( So that'll probably add to the list of songs dropping out of the top 100 from the top 40 - the sixth one this year after The Hype Squad, The Good Child Foundation, Paul Hardcastle, Jedward and Parade. Rapidly catching up to the 9 that did it in 2010.

VLV, Fix You and Yellow all still top 100 is good, hopefully they can all retain an official top 100 position although Yellow will probably drop out over the week.

 3. How We Roll (feat. Tanya Lacey) - Loick Essien

 4. Changed the Way You Kiss Me (Radio Edit) - Example

 5. Best Thing I Never Had - Beyoncé

Fucking hell, looks like Loick would have been #1 if DJ Fresh hadn't been here to save the day  If Loick had released last week as he originally planned to he could well have been #1 anyway!

Absolutely no idea how he's doing so well, he's budget Taio Cruz if such a thing can even exist.

The British males are really raking in the top 5 hits, this and Louder will be the fifth and sixth in five weeks!

I don't like it when a song goes top 10 that I've not heard anything about! :(

Better go and listen to 'How We Roll' then.

Loick is the same guy that sang a song called "Stuttering" a few months ago which featured N-Dubz. It went in the top 30's I think. I'm pretty sure it got more airplay cause of N-Dubz.

Wow, Avril's "Smile" is not doing well at all. :(

 117. Selena Gomez & the Scene - Love You Like a Love Song

Loick Essien's song redefines the word generic, bizarre that it's doing so well, it's not even a shining example of the genre. Why would anybody want a second rate Taio Cruz when the man himself is one of the least interesting artists around at the moment (which is a shame because his 2008 material was excellent).
I've heard 'How We Roll' on the radio quite a lot and have come to love it, pleased it's doing better than everyone expected :D
Is this the same Lock Essien I saw in November walk off the stage after half a song?!

October, even!

As he came on half of the people walked out to go into a different room, and the other half (me included) were there thinking "who the f*** is this guy?", there was absolutely no response from anyone at all and he walked off before he'd finished his first "song", it was quite funny!

Taio Cruz is very boring. Both personality-wize and music-wize (bar Dirty Picture I guess).

I like Loick Essien's song. I did't expect it to be at #3 on iTunes, but I wasn't surprised to see it be in the top 10. I've heard it so much. I wouldn't say it's that generic really, considering this is a chart which currently contains Dirty Talk, The Edge of Glory, Don't Stop the Party, Sun is Up and Give Me Everything. Let's just say, there's worse culprits around atm.

Ugh. I can't stand Taio Cruz though. Break Your Heart especially, is one of the most boring songs I've ever heard. He's another RnB singer that randomly started doing pop music. :(

Loick Essien's first single 'Love Drunk' was actually quite decent but he's completely turned to $h!t now :(

   The word 'wise' is spelled with an 'S' for the tenth time -_-

Well, Taio Cruz can Americanise his music, so I'll Americanise my spelling when talking about him. :kink:

My favourite part of How We Roll is the pre-chorus. With the Ke$ha-esque vocals from that woman. While we're at it, the best part of Scheisse by Lady Gaga is the pre-chorus (infact the only part of the song that I like tbh), and I also thought the best part of California Gurls was the pre-chorus (the only bit that didn't use the same beat as Tik Tok (who's beat was also ironically used in Dynamite by Taio Cruz...)).

How We Roll doing SO well :o I'm really shocked - but I do quite like the song, it's a better version of Come On Girl (which I never got the love tbh) for me.

How We Roll (feat. Tanya Lacey) - Loick Essien

I can only agree with the others who are gobsmacked as to why this is doing so well. I've seen the video quite a few times on several music channels. Well, I see "seen" but it's more I quickly change the channel. Maybe I should give this a proper listen but it's not made an impact on me yet.

If anything, Loick Essien reminds me of McLean (who? :D ) who was only scoring top 10 hits last year with 'My Name' and...oh, that was it. :P I honestly can't seperate them - it's J-Kwon Vs Chingy - The Next Generation.

I thought that Come On Girl was brilliant at the time but I sort of pin the whole club banger craze on that song now - if it had been released now I don't think I'd care for it at all, but it felt very fresh in early 2008.

That and I LOVE Luciana

I do love Luciana, but even she can't make the song good :(
