It's a collaboration between Laidback Luke & Steve Aoki (both producers) - with vocals (shouting) from Lil Jon. I've read all over the web that Jon ruins the single, but I think the shouting of 'Turbulence' is the best part.

^ For all those unaware of the song, I'd seriously check it out - it's amazing.

Oh, I was just confused as to why the tagging doesn't feature him ^_^

Wynter Gordan - Dirty Talk  #28 (I am officially in love with this song right now, gutted its taken me this long to realise it lol)

ADELE - SFTRR  #17 (no doubt this will be huge in a few weeks, so no problem with it dropping a little now)

Where Them Girls At  #14 :o :o Very good, video effect! I'm glad, hopefully heading back to top 10! Bad news for SFTTR though  #15 and Superbass #11 so close but still wont make top 10 because 1. WTGA is coming up quickly, and 2. Louder is released tomorrow!
Oh, I was just confused as to why the tagging doesn't feature him ^_^

There's also these in the top 100:

13. Badman Riddim (Jump) [Radio Edit] - Vato Gonzalez

30. On the Floor (Radio Edit) - Jennifer Lopez

48. What a Feeling (Radio Edit) - Alex Gaudino

75. All of the Lights - Kanye West

:P

It would be funny if Where Them Girls At beats Super Bass into the top 10! I hope it doesn't though, Super Bass is so much better, and Where Them Girls At has already been top 10 for a while.

Yes Beyonces effort has been great and number 1 doesn't matter but I'm irritated that bloody Derulo is gonna have the number 1 for two weeks running :puke:

Not to add be above her on itunes :(

I'm actually surprised to see 'Where Them Girls At' climbing so quickly following the music video release.

It's chart run currently stands at: (03-03-07-11-16-26-23-26) - 3 weeks within the T10 and 8 weeks within the T40.

I did have high hopes at the time that the video would push it back into the T10 - but I think it's actually already earned its status as a 'hit' in the UK; evident in the two consecutive weeks at #3 - the latter of which would've seen it climb to #1 had the midweek update remained the same.

It's quite impressive that it managed to spend 3 weeks in the top 10 without a music video and minimal radio airplay, when you think about it. Although when we remember that David Guetta's two previous songs at the time were Who's That Chick? and Sweat, it's no surprise it went straight to #1. However, I feel Where Them Girls At is poorer, so his next single might not do so well in its first week at least.

The longevity for this is incredible, it has done very well actually. I think it will have good sales in the end up, shame it couldn't at least go top 20.

Today's top 100 update:

Three new entries today. The highest is Turbulence, the new single by Laidback Luke and Steve Aoki feat. Lil Jon, which makes its first appearance at #79. The other two are two more songs from the Cloubland 19 tracklisting: The Black Eyed Peas - Don't Stop The Party at #94 and Jennifer Lopez feat. Pitbull - On The Floor at #95. Following his appearance on Graham Norton, Example re-enters at #87 with the Extended Mix of Changed The Way You Kiss Me (as the Radio Edit returns to #1), while a couple more usual suspects re-enter with the weekend effect: The Black Eyed Peas - I Gotta Feeling (again) at #97 and the Felix Cartal Club Remix of Beautiful People by Chris Brown feat. Benny Benassi at #100. Beyoncé, Mumford & Sons, Coldplay, Birdy, Two Door Cinema Club and Rizzle Kicks all have entries leave the top 100 to accommodate the 6 entries.

What are the total sales for 'Dirty Talk'? I'm gutted it never went top 10, but it seems to be hanging around, which is great. :D

I'm pleased Changed The Way You Kissed Me is climbing again. Hopefully it'll beat that awful Beyonce song back to #1. I'm listening to Example's new single, Stay Awake, as I write this and it's a lot better than CTWYKM.

It's also good to see Till I'm Gone climbing, which I bought weeks ago. Hopefully this will enter the top 40 by tomorrow. It's strange to see Turbulence rising, presumably because of Radio 1 who I never thought would playlist it.

Where Them Girls At still doesn't sound old so the higher it goes the better.

[RE]100. Beautiful People (Felix Cartal Club Remix) - Chris Brown

Why is this remix doing so well? I think it's awful, and I love dance remixes.

I'm also baffled at how well it's doing!! :o :o I can't believe it. Why has it sold so much. Hasn't it been top 100 for like 2 months now? I've never heard it on the radio or anything, and sometimes they have edits of music videos that match the remixes, and then play them on MTV, but that doesn't have one, as far as I'm aware (although I guess it wouldn't need one, since the video to Beautiful People isn't the sort that moves along with the song, if you know what I mean).

However, based on the remix itself. Firstly, I love it. I think it's great. And secondly, it's the sort of song that the UK loves at the moment. The remix sounds a lot like both Party Rock Anthem and Changed the Way You Kiss Me (and it sounds like Beautiful People aswell, obviously). I think it would sell so much if it was actually getting played on the radio.

Hopefully the longevity for DT means her 2nd Australian single 'Til Death, which is just is good is released here too, but is pushed better!
I am pleased to see a dance remix doing well, because they are massively underrated. I just think the original sounds so much better. I wonder why so many people are noticing and buying it? I was surprised that the original extended mix of Beautiful People wasn't released too, because of its popularity I would've thought it would sell well.

R1 A-Listed I'm In The House and B-Listed (I think?) Brrrat! - they love Steve Aoki. I never even knew any of these three songs existed before R1 playlisted them.

Well, since 29/05/2011, it's been top 100 at 8pm on 23 days. (Protip: http://www.buzzjack.com/forums/index.php?s...p;#entry3583143 :kink:) Not sure about before that though.

But yeah, absolutely no idea how it's still hanging around so long after its release...

On Radio 1 a few days ago I heard them say "We're going to play a new song from Wynter Gordon", but I didn't listen further, so I don't know if they were playing Dirty Talk or something else. The irony is though, Dirty Talk is like ancient now.

The Felix Cartal remix was in the top 50 on iTunes at one point aswell, since I remember wanting it to go top 40 on iTunes, but it narrowly missing out. If they got all the radio stations to play the remix and sent it to MTV, it could probably add like an extra 200,000 sales to Beautiful People, bearing in mind how much it's sold with no promotion.

1 Example Changed the Way You Kiss Me (Radio Edit) 1.000000

2 Jason Derülo Don't Wanna Go Home 0.934176

3 Beyoncé Best Thing I Never Had 0.874674

86 Example Changed the Way You Kiss Me (Extended Mix) 0.044551

So with the second version added, Jason is actually on 0.894333 and Beyoncé is actually on 0.864686.

I think I heard that one as well, at least a bit where they played a 'new' Wynter song, so probably the same bit. It was Dirty Talk. :drama:

I haven't heard Til Death yet, although if it's anywhere near as good as Dirty Talk, then it should be good.
