July 3, 201115 yr Does anybody think Bounce will be sampled like a million times in a few years? :lol: I could see it actually. It's got a very distinctive melody, which is the sort of thing that gets sampled.
July 3, 201115 yr Because of OVER EXPOSURE! No sleepers, no growers just release after release in short periods of time...public need to grasp a sound, a shift in direction rather than just being hit by rapid releases...that's why! For a new artist, I'd agree with you. But no-one needed to "grasp the sound" of "Born This Way" - the long lead-in promotion did just fine, and it hasn't adversely affected the album sales by putting two "proper" singles and two "promotional" singles out there. The extra single sales may well have added to the profit as well.
