Why did they stop playing the midweek number 1 at the start of the show?

I think because mostly it spoiled the fun and revealed who could be the number 1

Yeah, that's a good idea, it's just that on the chart pages they have loads of things like 'Bob Ft Hayley Williams - Airplanes ft Hayley Williams'. They need to change them to (using the same example) 'Bob - Airplanes ft. Hayley Williams'

I think that will end up being worse than what was there before.

They stopped playing the mid week number 1 a few weeks ago. I suppose that means we could get all 40 tracks if Reggie got his act together!

And it created a further three minutes to play one more of the tracks in the Top 40.

Nobody's Perfect!

It's a shame it looks like it'll be lower than Price Tag soon! :o

Jessie J's next single is starting to get playlisted by radio stations now, so it should be in the charts soon.

I think they stopped playing the midweek #1 because it took up too much time in the show, especially as they'd end up playing it again in a few hours.

24 weeks in the T40 for 'Price Tag', that's pretty incredible. Can't see it leaving the T100 for a while too, it'll be on the long list of 'songs that never leave the chart' alongside 'I Gotta Feeling' and 'Sex on Fire'.

As for Wynter Gordon, people say it each week - but it's done amazing for a single that only cracked the T25. I wonder if 'Till Death', her second single will fare any better; it's certainly a lot poppier and radio-friendly.

They still say what it is, they just don't play it for some reason.

Nobody's Perfect needs to f*** off as well. None of Jessie's singles have stood the test of time at all. Really overhyped artist in general...

1-1-2-2-2-2-4-5-7-10-12-13-16-24-32-30-32-24-31-35-36-37-40-40

What an amazing chart run for 'Price Tag'. So old now, but still a great song.

34-25-27-25-25-27-29-34-33-36-37-39

For a song which has peaked at #25 on 3 seperate occassions, its done really well, its never had a great deal of promotion or huge radio/tv play so very impressed with its chart run really.

32-18-9-10-12-14-11-12-20-24-29-35-38

Quite a good chart run for Jessie's second single, and has kept album selling well too. Ready for single #3 now!

I'm sick of Price Tag, but I still can't get enough of Nobody's Perfect. I love the bass in it. And those wooden percussion sounds in it. And Jessie J's vocals are brilliant in it too imo (compared to Who You Are at least! :o).

Uh oh. I'm bracing myself for 5 minutes of everybody whining.

It's a bit like Don't Stop the Party imo.

Jessie J discography:

02 Do It Like a Dude (21 weeks)

01 Price Tag (feat. B.o.B) (24 weeks)

09 Nobody's Perfect (13 weeks)

^ Pretty impressive for the Sound of 2011 - significantly better than the weeks spent in the T40 of past winners such as Little Boots and Ellie Goulding.

They still say what it is, they just don't play it for some reason.

Ouch, I didn't notice that tbh.

I don't think the UK will be that interested in a follow up Wynter single - she screams 'one hit wonder'. Radio never caught onto DT and all it's hype was created by it being held back for so long.

:yahoo:  :w00t:  :w00t:   :yahoo:  :cheer: YES!!!!! LMFAO are Top 40!!!!!!

Champagne Showers is truly terrible. I was really hoping this would end up peaking at #41.
:o So LMFAO made it, I wonder if it'll ever trouble the top 20, doubt it. PRA still top 15
