I think You and I will be big. The thing is, it went top 10 on iTunes after the album was released (as high as #6 or #7 I think). So surely with more radio airplay and a music video, it can get at the very least that high again.

Yeah, it did brilliantly on the release week in the US, and i think it's the most immediate of the album tracks so airplay should be good. I would have prefered Scheiße or Marry The Night but hopefully they won't be too far behind! ^_^

I guess one good thing about releasing Inside Out would be that it doubt many people would find it generic. :lol: I think a lot of people could think I Wanna Go is generic. It's not a bad song, but it's quite formulaic, if you know what I mean.

I see what you mean, I Wanna Go is quite generic but I really thought it would be a lot bigger than it's been. But I always think it was clear from the announcement of it being a single that it would either be huge or flop totally. Sadly it's been the latter :(

Only two of the new entries are actually new songs though - Swedish electronic band Little Dragon enter at #76 with the brilliant 'Ritual Union' off their third album of the same title (released yesterday) and Italian house DJ Benny Benassi enters at #91 with 'Cinema' (with a little bit of help from featured vocalist Gary Go, who you may remember got to #25 with 'Wonderful' in 2009). Benassi's last single 'Spaceship' only got to #94 despite Benassi being co-credited with musical heavyweights Kelis, apl.de.ap (of The Black Eyed Peas) and, er, Jean-Baptiste. 'Cinema' doesn't seem to be doing much better despite Benassi's recent success with Chris Brown on 'Beautiful People'.
