The Saturdays release All Fired Up on September 4th which is the follow up to their 10th single Notorious which is on course to spend its 9th week in the Top 40 this week.

Think: The general public will be 'alienated' by it, and I don't think it will get very good radio support. Top 20

Want: Below top 40. I wish this would happen to show that being generic and following the trends is not good!

want: #02. better than sugababes? yes. better than example? yes. better than pixie? maybe. better than leona? probably not. it's still brilliant though, imo. really different to their other songs and so energetic. best listened to loud. :wub:

think: top 20. I just have a feeling that this will be another one of these huge 'club banger' songs that hardly makes any impact, unfortunately.

I think it will go Top 10, higher than Notorious, and could maybe just hit Top 5

Want: Number 1, already one of their best singles for me, and I'm a loon! :o

Think: Top 5, it should be slightly more supported than Notorious (it's not OA/OS), but it won't sell as well.

Even though I don't particularly like the song I can see it being a big hit for the girls. Well for The Sats anyway, I'll say #05 or so with a healthy chart run.

Its more catchy than Notorious (which lets be honest isn't difficult).... will probably do well because its so generic - the vocals are appaling on it though and as a whole the production sounds uber cheap on it and as though not alot was spent on it.

 

The video is cool - they should have that as the video instead of them looking cheap posing around and trying to be sexy.

 

Prediction - Top 10 - same as usual tbh - no doubt by the massiv will be hailed as the greatest song ever.

Want - Below Top 40

I think low top 10 and no higher than 8, i feel it might get slightly forgotten about considering there are a few other big enough releases that week.

I voted top 10 for both. I specifically want it to peak at #6 or #7.

 

It's pretty decent on first listen, I'm surprised it's using a house-y backing track which is not identical to I'm Not Alone or One/Miami 2 Ibiza :o

It was shockingly wrote by Xenomania, you know.. the people who did 99% of the Girls Aloud stuff.

 

They must have wrote this in a few minutes, 6 sentences of lyrics in a song!

 

However, it's catchy and the lyrics are stuck in your head after the 2nd/3rd listen.

think and want top 10, its not a bad song, much better than Notorious, I still don't think it will get that high, around 5/6ish

No offence But 'Collide' sounds generic to me...The only thing that makes it sound a little less generic is Leona's vocals...So i wouldn't be so abrupt.

 

Anyway, yeah I predict top 10 nothing new..I reckon it will come in at #7ish and fall to #16 the week after.
