Tony Bennett & Amy Winehouse's 'Body And Soul' is being released on Tuesday (the 11th I presume) and is a charity single. Obviously as it's from Billboard that's only confirming a US release but if it gets a release here as well it could be another contender for next week's #1, maybe.

 

JLS marginally gaining on Cher again, back up to 94%. I hope they reclaim the #1 soon.

They aren't really 'rapidly' catching JLS at all - The Wanted are still 21% behind JLS (22% if you ignore Cher and set JLS as 100%) which is only a gain of +5% since Sunday.

 

But my reference point wasn't Sunday - more like early Tuesday when Cher Lloyds lead was peaking.

 

 

It'd be good to keep an eye on 'Only Girl (In The World)' since it must be closing in on the 1 million copies mark.

 

I have it on ~951.5k, but at its current sales rate it will take the best part of 5 months to pass 1m.

I was reading about the collaboration album yesterday - definitely think releasing the Amy Winehouse single for charity is a worthy cause. Permitting it sounds good (which I hope it will), it could do very well - although there's not been much talk of it yet; so I don't think #1 is on the cards (for next week at least).
