Three new entries today. After just missing the top 100 yesterday French DJ David Guetta enters at #32 with 'Titanium' (featuring Australian singer Sia), the first of three promo singles and third single overall from his upcoming fifth studio album 'Nothing But The Beat'. The other two new entries are album tracks from American rappers Jay-Z and Kanye West's collaborative album 'Watch The Throne'. 'Lift Off' featuring Beyoncé is predictably the highest at #58, while the album version of 'Otis' featuring Otis Redding enters at #86 (as the single version falls from 30 to 36 today). As the Now! 79 version of Snoop Dogg vs. David Guetta's 'Sweat' tumbles from 66 to 74, the single version makes a re-entry at #87. Rihanna and Selena Gomez & The Scene also have re-entries ('Man Down' at #96 and 'Love You Like A Love Song' at #97 respectively). I think Nero will be #1 this week after all. They are not too far away from #1, and if people remember back to 'Guilt', that was only #12 on iTunes before the first midweeks, and it was at #6 in the first report. I think they will be #1 with around 50k.

I dont like it either it is dull and I usually like most ballads-just cannot get into it but still hope it does well.

I think Nero could be #1 in the first mids, their EP is still #4 on iTunes which will help it a lot and it's not miles off being #1 (and is closer when factoring in the Skrillex remix - the 4 songs above it don't have a significant 2nd version charting, although The A Team and Glad You Came do). I think to have any chance of being #1 on Sunday it'll need to get to #1 on iTunes though. LivePopBars seems to have broken again -_-

30. David Guetta ft. Sia 'Titanium'

 

I'm thrilled to see this promotional single doing so well. I found it on Youtube yesterday (currently in Italy, so lacking iTunes) and instantly fell in love with it - by far one of his best songs to date. Hopefully it can get T40 come Sunday, I'd hate to see it peak just outside; it's looking an unlikely choice of official single.
