Loving the video, just makes me love the song even more even when I thought it wasn't possible!

The video is clearly cheap as, which about sums up the whole thing for me. The chorus is so LIMP, perhaps a gaytastic remix can remedy this, but you know when the strings in the outro are the best part of a song it's not up to much.
Looooooove the video!

At first I was a bit unimpressed, but she's so beautiful. It was well edited, I like the sheet in the wind effect they did in the Middle 8 and she looks amazing between the hanging keys ^_^ And it's #1 on Swedish iTunes!

Ooooooh I love it! So well edited.

ADDICTED.

Agnes Top 3.

1. Release Me

2. Don't Go Breaking My Heart

3. Love Love Love

Why is she not massive over here. :( I have nothing against the chorus, it doesn't need anything else!

This would be such a good song if the chorus wasn't so disgusting, really ruins it. :(

I think it fits the song well and after such great verses and bridge it barely needs any more lift in the chorus, especially considering it has such great production going on beneath it.

The only thing stopping it being perfect for me as I said before is the intro, which doesn't match the rest of the song at all imo, and also sounds quite low quality sound wise which is annoying (and I'm not usually one to be fussed by sound issues )

If the intro was higher quality sounding, this would be right up there with Release Me for me! I'm pretty much agreed with your viewpoint there. (Though I actually like the intro.)

I actually adore the intro, it's a different sound for her. I actually think if it was well promoted then it could be another hit for her, its less Scandipop than Release Me and I think she's still well enough remember from that to be able to come back with a track that sounds different.
I don't hate the intro, it just sounds jarring because of the quality of it soundwise...

It's a shame that after the, errm, success of I Need You Now, On & On & the album, the only label that would touch her - AATW - will probably ditch her for good! :( Shame, as this really does have hit potential and I believe she could be just as big with this, as she was wil Release Me, with the right promotion.

Funnily enough, I hadn't noticed the poor quality of the intro and I usually spot these sort of things straight away  . I think a string lead intro would have suited the song a bit better myself, even if it would have made it sound more like her previous material.

I entirely disagree, the intro is carried on into the verses where it integrates into the strings for the chorus. For me it's an integral part of the tracks charm and really helps set it apart from her last album to show she has another couple of tricks up her sleeves.

As much as I would have loved Release Me pt II as her comeback I'm actually glad that this is what she turned out, it's better than I could have hoped for.

Agreeing completely with Silas for once. I like the sort of 'clunkyness' that the verses and intro have.

I really don't have a problem with the intro, and LOVE that effect on the verses where the vocals take centre stage, it's really only the poor sound quality that puts me off it, even in the iTunes M4A version it sounds like a dodgy radio rip for the first ten seconds, perhaps only to my ears though

I don't have a problem with the quality of it, if anything the slight roughness of the intro helps set the tone for track.

Sometimes I actually really like the LQ of a radio rip. There is a radio rip of About You Now I have that really brings out the bass and is one of my most played tracks :kink:

Each to their own, for me radio rips go straight to the recycle bin as soon as the HQ/iTunes versions surface

I have 5 or 6 radio rips, all Sugababes of course, that have an insane amount of plays from first listening that I've never got rid of. Some of them have a real good quality to them, others have other charms.

The way I hear it is the quality of the intro is consistent right through the track and brings a roughness to the actual track that stops it being a slushy string fest and more of a don't you dare mess with me anthem.

For me the punchiest bit of the song is spearheaded by strings - 2.42 through the track where the chorus forces its way back in after the middle 8, LOVE that part!

I can't be objective about anything featuring strings though I'm afraid, everyone knows that

Oh yes, I'm not a fan of the low quality sound of the first 10 seconds, just like you, but I love the choice of instruments at every part of the song. Just simply brilliance for me. Poor sound quality is enough to me off a song too! But luckily it's only until she opens her mouth in this song! :P
