It seems that after all this 'T.G.I.F.' business, Katy said she wants 'Peacock' released. BUT the label have said they'd rather they moved onto the re-release (I guess they mean new song) but if that fails, they want 'Hummingbird Heartbeat'.

'Peacock':

'Hummingbird Heartbeat':

I think they could milk the album for another single before the re-release. If they hurry, they could get one out for the UK as well as go on X Factor to promote the re-release.

What do you want to see? Also what would you rather now? A Re-Release, An EP or a brand new album?

I've gone for 'Hummingbird Heartbeat' and 'EP'. Like I said above they could easily do both here. Not quite sure about whether they could in time for the US. But I'd like another EP sort of thing I think she could get away with releasing one.

EDIT: Oh and 'Peacock' is horrific. Seriously my least favourite Katy song/thing to date. It's awful :(

If they choose to milk the album and release another track, I'd rather it be 'Peacock' just for the sheer fact that the video will be AMAZING. Then, a EP (a la 'The Fame Monster') in time for the Christmas market.
I don't mind Peacock (it's about an 8.5 despite it being my 2nd least fave on the album) and I love Hummingbird Heartbeat, but I'd rather have an EP of about 8 tracks a la Fame Monster/Cannibal.
They should leave it, they've got the singles absolutely spot on this era resulting in 5 huge smashes. There's nothing of hit potential left after 'Last Friday Night', move onto new material.
They can't be serious with still releasing more singles from this album. This is turning into Rihanna's GGGB album era with like 8 or 9 releases

I'd say if they REALLY want another single, go for Hummingbird Heartbeat, (why they're passing over The One That Got Away is beyond me) but the smart choice would be to just end the era. Even an EP/Re-release will seem tacky at this point. Just give her time to recharge and put out another stellar album a year or two down the line. I can wait if it means an album as good as this one.
'Hummingbird Heartbeat' would be a great choice, and it was one of my highlights of the tour, but I can't see it doing anything - I'd prefer a re-release to a new album, at this point, though.

I could not agree more.

Hoping she just moves onto a new album so that she doesn't beat MJ's record. If not then I hope she releases Peacock and it gets to #2.
No more singles please, she should let this era come to an end now.

No more singles from TD, thanks.

Wouldn't want a re-release either. I'd like an EP released in time for Christmas, and then a new album end of August/September, like Teenage Dream :D

I guess I would choose Hummingbird Heartbeat, if another song had to be released. But I still think they should leave the era now, unless they consider releasing Circle the Drain or The One That Got Away

Isn't an EP and re-release the same thing?

I don't this album needs anymore singles.

Didn't I post this information in another thread?

Regardless, I think they should move on. If Katy wants a sixth #1, she's not going to get it from this album unless she re-releases. I wish she'd just release the Rebecca Black "Friday" remix. :/

As much as I LOVE every single song on this album (minus 'Who Am I Living For' and to a lesser extent 'Peacock'), I think she should move on now. There's still some fabulous tracks but I don't think they'd appeal to the record buying public.

I'd like her to take a break and release a new single next April time with a new album to follow after another single in the summer.

Peacock would be the obvious choice, for me. It's completely different to the previous singles. Hummingbird represents perfectly the sound of the album...that was previously introduced by Teenage Dream and Last Friday Night.

In case they don't want to release Peacock, I would go for a ballad like Pearl or Not Like The Movies...se hasn't released a ballad this era and it would be a really nice way to end up the campaign.
