19th September. Its up against Dappy and One Direction's second week. The highest I can see for it is #3.

With everyone of your post mentioning it, I decided to give up and give it a listen and its rather great imo. I think it should go top 40 officially at some point when it starts getting some airplay, or at least I hope so.

Sorry. :P I'm quite annoying, haha. It's just I heard it once on one of those rubbish music channels (the ones where people text in and request songs) and I actually thought it was fantastic. I'm kind of biased because i'm a big Chris Brown fan, but I definately think it deserves a top twenty position at least.

And about Jason Derulo's new song, it's MUCH better than Don't Wanna Go Home (which isn't difficult, I guess!). It's kind of like a mix between Irreplaceble and What If, and it has one of the best hooks this year. Definately hope it goes top five. I'm interested to see who'll win the battle between One Direction and Dappy. Dappy has the much better song but One Direction will probably get the #1 purely because it's their debut (like everyone else X-Factor related!)

Notorious back  to #100. The All Fired Up video release must really be helping it.

It'll be OD's second week though, so Dappy could steal it.

Oh, you saw it on MTV. So they haven't banned it like they did with his previous single then.

I love the beat to it. It's so good. Especially the strings, and the drums are amazing, nice and loud. And the guitar melody is so good too. Okay, I've just listed like everything in the instrumental, but it's so good. Perfect. It's very suitable for the charts.

One Direction will definitely get #1 that week then tbh. I don't think anyone else stands a chance really.

EDIT: If it's One Direction's 2nd week, Dappy could win I guess.

Nah, it wasn't MTV I saw the Pot Of Gold video. I think it was Channel AKA or Starz Music. :P

I'm suprised Rizzle Kicks are #5. It's a good song and all but I never thought it would break the top 40, never mind the top ten! I've never seen it on any music channels.

I'm surprised how well JLS have held up. But even I have been swayed in their favour with this single. It's rather infectious and catchy so It should stick around a while. Same with The Wanted but they have been quite good from the beginning. On a side note, I'm glad The Wanteds fathers came :kink:

They have held up extremely well. I never expected them to do this well. I don't get the last bit of your post though.

EDIT: Oh, are you saying you're glad that they exist?

When I said MTV in that instance I meant Music TV channels in general. It's good it's getting support from somewhere already.

They're not the NOLAN SISTERS!

I'm glad Beyonce's father came. :kink: I'm also glad Tinie Tempah's father came, although for a different reason.

I never expected them to do this well either. It's a great comeback for them for a new album. The last album had some pretty bad singles except "Eyes Wide Shut" which was bearable.

Yep thats what I meant :)

They're not the NOLAN SISTERS!

Um excuse me?!

Think about it... then try not to.

Oh everyone loves a bit of dirty humour now and again. It's often the most funniest.

What is that different reason?! I sense I have started a ball rolling. We will be thanking everyones fathers soon :kink:

Um excuse me?!

They aren't a band of brothers! You make it sound like they only have one father!

I love dirty humour all the time, mate, but..

It's the parent/old people having sex thing. That's what it's got to be. Or the way you described it. Or, oh no, I'm thinking too much about it. Excuse me, I need some fresh air...

(When was the last time this thread devolved into innuendo-ridden humour. It's happened before...)

The reason for Tinie is just the good songs.

Tinie's music has touched my life. About a year ago, I thought I was going to die, but then I listened to Frisky, and then I didn't die. :)

I did say "Fathers" Oh well.

You are reading way to much into it! It was a tongue in cheek moment.

Oh right, still though are you being serious or joking? I can't tell :o

I think it's quite boring, it's good but I don't think it's album launch single material at all, it just sounds like a good album track to me :( I can see it peaking at 4/5.

Don't worry. You are reading way too much into it! It was a tongue in cheek moment.

So the new entries tonight that could impact the top 40 are:

David Guetta & Afrojack - Lunar

Dev - In The Dark

Emeli Sandé – Heaven

Joe Jonas - See No More

Maroon 5 feat Christina Aguilera - Moves Like Jagger

Modestep – Sunlight

Wretch 32 feat Josh Kumra - Don't Go

I think Wretch, Emeli and Maroon 5 will go top 10, Joe Jonas and Modestep will go top 20 and Dev and David Guetta should go top 40.
