Not much change taking into account the 2.5 day gap since the last update, except for Maroon and Xtina with their massive increase!

Nero dropping a bit now, hard to tell how severe it is without knowing how well the album version is doing.

Quite impressed at the extent to which Maroon 5 / Christina Aguilera have caught up - it's now just over 6% away from #1. With Emeli Sande falling into the 70% region, the prediction of it debuting at #3 is looking more and more likely - it'll be her highest charting single to date regardless.

15. Jessie J 'Who's Laughing Now'

I'm surprised to see this so high already - I was expecting it to peak in the 20s and creep a T20 placement with the additional EP sales. Hopefully it'll get a few weeks in the T20 as I can't see it going T10 officially.

But the dominant factor here is not the 'top 10 effect', but the 'anti-XF' effect. Most XF-related songs struggle to get airplay, regardless of how well they do in the charts. I ascribe this to the perception that they haven't *earned* their chart success.

Maybe. There's a few exceptions to that rule though, such as All Night Long by Alexandra Burke, and most of JLS's songs.

So tonight we'll see how big the X Factor effect will be for the next few weeks of initial live auditions!

Also SLY has been inside top 40 on iTunes all week so I expect it to be at least #40 on Sunday..

141. Lady GaGa - Yoü and I

Wonder what the initial video play will be on this. According to Wiki the release date is Tuesday but I'm guessing airplay won't kick in for a while yet.

Sometimes the music channels I get (4Music and Viva) used to dedicate a 10-minute program specially for premiering a Lady Gaga video.

They've released the music video waaaaaaaaaay too early though (for the UK). The song will be massive in the US, however. It got to something like #6 on iTunes on the album release week. As we know, it's very remarkable for an album track to do that.

You and I's given the album a boost this week. It was in the 80s on itunes on monday and it's now in the 40s.

When was Sean released?

I've been waiting decades for that to be released! (well months and months).

Fingers crossed it makees the top 40.

The music channels got hold of the video yesterday, and The Box, 4M and SH scheduled slots for it to be played, so the track got as high as #132 on iTunes yesterday. They seemed to have moved on to One Direction's video today though.

And yes, the song will be HUGE in the states, its already #18 on US iTunes!

Set fire to the rain climbing back up :o It's currently 14 and MLJ is so close to no.1. Typical, they had to get this close now when Olly and others will knock it back down again in 9 ish hours yet they couldn't have done this on Wednesday or whenever but oh well. I'm still stunned at how well it's done and No.2 I can live with. Still wish it be beaten by a better song though <_<

Major releases tonight with predictions (aside from the amazing Miranda who HAS to have a mention!) :P:

Calvin Harris - Feel So Close - top 5

David Guetta feat Jennifer Hudson – Night Of Your Life - top 10 on iTunes, but about the same as Titanium officially

Evanescence - What You Want - maybe a shock top 40? Not sure they can pull of a hit full stop these days, let alone OA/OS :(

Miranda Lambert – Baggage Claim (not major but   ) - outside top 1000 ofc :(

Noel Gallagher 's High Flying Birds - The Death Of You And Me (7”/CDS) - top 40 on name?

Olly Murs feat Rizzle Kicks - Heart Skips A Beat (CDS) - number 1

One Republic feat B.o.B. - Good Life - maybe top 40, based on the US hype/succsess?

Rizzle Kicks - Mama Do The Hump - I don't even know if this is actually going ahead? Maybe it's OA/OS sale again? If so, no idea where it'll peak!

Selena Gomez & The Scene – Love You Like A Love Song - I doubt it'll beat it's peak of 57 or whatever it was :(

Take That - When We Were Young - probably miss top 40, there isn't a physical.

Tinie Tempah feat Wiz Khalifa - Til I'm Gone - maybe top 20?

The Vaccines – Norgaard (7'') - just outside the top 40 probably?

Will Young – Jealousy - should go at least top 40 on 'fanbase buy', possibly top 20

Wiz Khalifa - No Sleep - No idea

Calvin Harris - Feel So Close - top 2

David Guetta feat Jennifer Hudson – Night Of Your Life - low top 20/high top 30

Evanescence - What You Want - flop.

Miranda Lambert – Baggage Claim - #1 SMASH :w00t:

Noel Gallagher 's High Flying Birds - The Death Of You And Me (7”/CDS) - top 40

Olly Murs feat Rizzle Kicks - Heart Skips A Beat (CDS) - #1

One Republic feat B.o.B. - Good Life - flop

Rizzle Kicks - Mama Do The Hump - flop

Selena Gomez & The Scene – Love You Like A Love Song - won't beat it's peak so far

Take That - When We Were Young - flop

Tinie Tempah feat Wiz Khalifa - Till I'm Gone - high top 30

The Vaccines – Norgaard (7'') - top 100

Will Young – Jealousy - top 20

Wiz Khalifa - No Sleep - flop

Quite alot of big names, but not many will do very well :(

Don't even joke about poor Miranda :snif: If my minor obsession was a form of purchase eligible for chart she would be number 1! That said Baggage Claim is probably her worst single yet.

Olly will be number 1 and Calvin Harris will be number 2 I think , the only other top 40 hits I can see are Will Young and maybe Noel Gallagher and Evanescence (ugh, I was hoping they'd get a bigger hit with that :( )

Promises is falling fast, down to 7 :( really hope this doesn't have the dreaded term of 'non number 1'

I wish Evanescence would wait until the week before the album or some such. I doubt it will be a hit regardless, but it will do a Blink 182/RHCP at this rate :(
