Of course it will - of the two I'd say Marina's has a far better chance charting higher. That's not to say it's the better of the two tracks though, only more commercial. I guess it's being held back so that it'll chart at #5 instead of #6, which of course is VERY important to record companies.

nice to see Florence getting nearer the top 10 :wub: that would be SUCH a good addition to the top 10 although it obviously won't get there officially what with midweek release, top 20 would be nice though

Marina's new song is atrocious. I've never been a fan of her or her voice or her attitude, but at least she had something different going on with TFJ, Radioactive is just commercial tripe which her record label will have made her do after she flopped so badly.

I remember everyone saying Marina would do better out of her and Ellie, But TFJ is only certified gold, and Ellie has sold 620,000, and is still #54, as well as having 4 top 30 hits, 2 top 5.

But good to see florence rising!

You & I C-List on Radio 1 and Radio 2 this week, thus airplay will increase and it will climb! Also, Florence straight onto C-List, hopefully the airplay stops the inevitable 'stall at 11 and fall'.

I doubt it, Marina needs the build up of a pent up release to get anything approaching a decent chart position. She can't have sold more than 100k of her debut album, whereas Lungs sold around 1.5 million or something so Florence's comeback was always going to completely blow Marina's out of the water success wise, initially at least, regardless of quality. If Radioactive had been released already I expect it would be struggling to keep a place in the lower top 100 sadly, she's not a big name whatsoever :(

Rihanna's video hasn't been released yet. She's climbing from radio airplay at the moment.

Her previous two US singles, Man Down and California King Bed both flopped really (and that was with music videos), so this is very promising.

Fantastic eventhough Y&I maybe bland, it's also nice and to see it not too far of the top 40 is quite pleasing. EOG to go back into the top 20 officially this week please :)

It's amazing how The Edge og Glory has climbed this week. I watched the performance on Youtube, and she did sing it very well, so I can understand why.

 

I LOVE that woman though. Out of the two auditions I watched, she's my favourite. :wub: Especially the bit afterward, where she ran off stage screaming, all like "I'm going to be famous. I'm going to have paparazzi following me soon". Bless her. :lol: :wub:

Surprised to see Britney climbing back into the top 100. Maybe she will climb as she will have a show dedicated to her on monday and I Wanna Go should remain on the X Factor adverts.
