I have to say I'm surprised at Leona. To think, people were saying yesterday that the Sats wouldn't make top 10 and now they're challenging no.1 :lol:

 

Who was saying The Sats would not make Top 10, I am sure they are no where to be found today.I am sure no one predicted they could take the No 1 though.I wonder if Pixie has lots more promotion other than R or B.

Pixie's doing fine. The only one underperforming at the moment is Leona, really.

 

Pixie isn't doing too badly but I expected her to be a bit higher than barely 50% by now. Hopefully she'll be #3 soon.

just bought all fired up :D, i can just see the sats freaking out everytime they go up a spot. at least they know not to tell anyone they are #1 until sunday.

Leona is still climbing, it's a bit early to say she'll miss the top 10. I'm still predicting her to get to about #6 (although I was predicting #3 yesterday so that's a bit of a step down)

 

Hopefully Example will stay in the top 4 then, I don't want him to match the 1-5 drop Jason Derülo and Nero had... (assuming he even is #1, there is a chance Maroon 5 could have taken it at the last minute I suppose, but I doubt it, the Friday mids #1 is very rarely not #1 on the Sunday)

They're still gaining very quickly though - it's only quarter past 2, if they're still over 15% behind or so by the end of the day then maybe they're in trouble but I still think they'll get to #1.

I don't think it'll matter if The Sats drop on Wedneday (or whatever) as long as they build up a decent lead in sales before they do drop. Missing You held on until Friday as the #1 even though it was #4 on iTunes, and The Club Is Alive had fallen to #5 and still got the #1 position.

I think Flo Rida overtook on Friday - I think the last time the Friday and Sunday #1s differed was way back with Poker Face and Right Round (Flo Rida again :P)! I may be forgetting something obvious though.

 

EDIT: Actually, I think Price Tag overtook at the last minute for its second week.

Sats fans shouldn't start the party yet... Pixie looks set to overtake the Sats within the day imo. And I wouldn't count out Maroon5 who have to be the least front-loaded of the acts competing for the no1.

Really? I thought that earlier but The Sats are still miles ahead and increasing quicker, I don't think Pixie will overtake now unless ROB? helps her a lot.

It all depends on how big a lead The Sats can build when they pass MLJ. Pixie will overtake them at some point but if they can build up a big enough lead they might be able to survive the Red Or Black boost Pixie gets and maybe their physical can make up for when they eventually start dropping on iTunes.

I'm thinking Leona may end up being a low top 10 hit by next sunday, and depending whether it gets promotion, it could be a climber.

 

The Saturdays I'm hoping will get to #1, it's still all very up in the air for them and for Pixie Lott too.

 

In some ways I would love Maroon 5 to be #1, but then I've loved the last few weeks where the #1 has been a British artist

The Sats had an amazing start. They did start with 3*Pixie rate really. It now looks like they are increasing with less than 1.5*Pixies rate. They are still gaining on her but the rate has dropped suspiciously fast for a few *dead* hours with little promo for either act... Pixies should be gaining on them after RoB when she will get a sizeable extra boost. (unless if she is even more froantloaded herself :lol: )

 

Maroon 5 will give the ladies a run anyway.
