Didnt their last single only sell 1k physicals though ?

This time they have the bundle which counts as 3 sales, so their physicals will be stronger.

Oh come on!!

1 Pixie Lott - All About Tonight 1.000000

2 The Saturdays - All Fired Up - 0.992932

3 Maroon 5 - Moves Like Jagger (Studio Recording from the Voice Performance) - 0.979766

Too close!

Oh..... TENSION :o !

If i'm going to be honest, I thought Pixie would be much far ahead of #2.

So with eveything combined The Sats are still #1, with them having 4 versions of the track in the the Top 500 (5 in the Top 1000) compared to Pixies 2 in th Top 500 (4 in the Top 1000)

Everything combined, Pixie would have a good lead, as that would include her being at #6 on the album chart with her EP.

She only just gained the top spot - give her a chance to get a lead!

Pixie and Leona also have the EPs to factor in - both top 10 too

+ The Sats EP at #21 and their physicals (which count as 3 sales per purchase - they've been selling a 2 track CD, Maxi CD and Vinyl for £6 which will contribute to 3 sales per perchase).

The top 10 this week, I predict:

01. Pixie Lott

02. Maroon 5

03. The Saturdays

04. Leona Lewis/Avicii

05. Olly Murs

06. Example

07. Sean Kingston

08. Calvin Harris

09. Ed Sheeran

10. Christina Perri

About The Wanted performing on the X Factor after only two hits, and The Saturdays not, I think the main reason The Wanted got to perform on the X Factor like that was because their manager is friends with Louis Walsh. They used to work together I believe.

The Wanted's manager used to manage The Saturdays (they fired her). But the reason why they get slots is because they are managed by the company that runs Capital FM and Heart FM which are extremely influential. So basically Cowell books them and expect airplay from their artists in return.

Talent is subjective, as is music taste and who you call a 'big act'. I wouldn't call JLS of 3 years ago a 'big' act - yet they've had slots in X Factor from the word go and The Saturdays didn't ...

Well, that's completely understandable given the fact they're X Factor acts. Of course they'll get slots easily.

Wow, that's not desperate at all, not one bit.

Live Pop Bars can be a tad slow sometimes, she's probably on more than that now

The Wanted's manager IS the guy who runs Capital, Heart (and some other radio stations aswell): http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Global_Radio

What? Making formats available like the old times? Also, it's not the first time they (+ MANY others) have done it either. I hate it when people try to be negative towards something when it's been done hundreds of times before and no one batted an eyelid...

Desperate was their campaign for Missing You last year. That was desperation.

I don't see anything wrong with it, it's all legit, and If it works on their behalf then why not :)

No, having multiple formats is fine and a good way to generate extra sales and money. But offering to sell them together in a bundle for a reduced price that will count as 3 sales just seems to me like they're desperate for people to multibuy so they have a better chance at #1.

Unless I misunderstood 2ndAdventure's post?

Told you Pixie would overtake... I just wonder when Maroon 5 will gain the top spot again... Friday perhaps? Thursday?

I hope Leona keeps climbing. It would be a shame if she ends up lower than no4.

(I have to agree about the deperation of the Sats really, it is almost like JLS selling 5 different covers)

I see those little scamps One Direction have been tweeting their loyal followers to buy Collide. The power of their fanbase never ceases to amaze me, it's given Collide the best free promo it could have had

You can still buy The Saturdays' physicals separate from the bundle, it's not like they're forcing three copies on each of their fans

Very displeased by the songs in the top two currently; Pixie's song is just boring, whilst The Saturdays' is weak. Hopefully Maroon 5 will gain on them both during the week (which is surely very likely), and claim the #1 by week's end. I'd also love the see Snow Patrol get at least top twenty - I thought it would go top 10 at least though

There is an option for the customer to buy them seperately, so it's not like they're forcing people to buy the special offer.

In one transaction you can get the 2-track CD, MAXI CD, and the Vinyl for £6 something. Since all 3 products have different barcodes (or something along that line) they'll count as 3 sales.
