Sorry, I probably should have explained that - they mean 'Album Version' and 'Single Version'. I got sick of typing the full phrases out so I'm just going to abbreviate it now. They're only there for songs which have had both chart to avoid confusion between the two.

92. Damien Rice - The Blower's Daughter - Looks like all his songs have gotten a boost. Although this often happens when an artist is performed on X Factor.

125. Will Young - Heart On Fire - What is this doing here? Is it his next single? If so, it's already off to a great start!

267. Dappy - No Regrets (Acoustic Version) - Don't know why, but I find the thought quite amusing. :lol:

466. Black Eyed Peas - Shut Up - I heard Glee Cast are covering one of the songs from The E.N.D next season! :o Can't wait! :D It's a song that they weren't able to release as a single, so it could give it the recognition it could've got.

470. Jeremih - Down On Me - So, after a year, it's almost out of the top 500. Maybe it'll be out of the top 1000 by 2013? :lol:

Doing so well. Was at #29 and #48 a few hours ago.

Will sang Hearts on Fire on Jonathan Ross, and it's a great song. It made the album go back up into the top 10 (6now I think?) on the itunes chart. Great that people have sought it out :)

The A Team is one of the 3 songs of this year for me. Classic... too bad that the album is not as half as good (or lower)

Jar Of Hearts back up to #9, this is showing great longevity! Considering it became a hit due to a price reduction, its held up so well since it returned to 99p again.

I can't believe the freefall The Saturdays are having now, combined they're #13th and Calvin Harris is climbing rapidly on them!

This would be a good time for the single to be reduced to 59p!

:lol: Yeah, they are fairly similar actually. :lol: Do you reckon that's the actual reason? :o I was thinking maybe they played it on Radio 1 recently. Or it's been used in an advert/TV programme.

They should just make the big new releases 59p for one week or something. I'm pretty sure we'll be seeing some huge sellers if that were to happen.

 

I would totally love to see some big sales, sorry to trawl this back from pages back, im just reading through the thread, bit of a newbie in here so hello.

What i would really love to see, is an illegal download chart, it will never happen i know, i would really like to see how many 'sales' there are for every artist, since weve had the internet sales have slowly declined and with the current climate affordability is paramount too. Would be very interesting if we could have data collected from every source, whether illegal downloads, legal ones, pinching from radio, or youtube etc, i really wonder just what is going on out there. in my younger years i used to record the top 40 each week from the radio, now you could go to an illegal site and cherry pick, maybe just add which new realeased you liked to your ipod. was having a conversation with someone today, and we were saying, if we were say 12 now, we would have the latest ipod, ipad and blackberry, and really with downloads CDs could become obsolete (sp) to the youngsters. so are CDs and CD players going to become a thing of the past, like the vhs recorders, only a few models on the market.

 

*god my nan bought me a CD for my birthday... how embarassing* *better hide mums CD player, my best friend is coming over, god its in our sitting room* :lol:

Potential singles for me too, along with Hearts on Fire & Losing Myself & if we have to have a ballad Silent Valentine at the appropriate time of the year. ;) Jealousy has proved to be a brilliant lead single. Just hope Will & his team get the next choices right.

 

Snap TT :dance: singles for me HOF LM Runaway, Good things is my fave track but imo i cant see it being a single, hope im totally wrong. and 'I just want a lover' would love either 'Personal Thunder or Silent Valentine for a ballad single. :dance:

#13 & #26, massive increase.

The guy who sang The A Team was so average :mellow: Nice for such a great song to have a boost though! Same with Cannonball! I hope Jason DeRulo starts falling soon, It Girl is so meh and average, I much prefer DWGH (which I loved!)
