'Moves Like Jagger' is very similar to 'The A Team'. Both entered at #3 from very little airplay but the mass fanbase going out and buying the songs in its first week.

I'm not sure the "fanbase" thing has anything to do with it when we talk about Maroon 5 and Christina. They've had their fair amounts of flops in the past. It's not like all of their songs has automatically reached the top 2 in the past.

Wow at Will! Hopefully can climb back to #4 and spend another few weeks in the top ten :D It definitely deserves to have some longevity.

As I said earlier today Saturdays are always far ahead of Olly in the morning and lose all steam at night, yet Ollie's never overtaken them yet!

However, I do think Will Young will be at #04 tomorrow, I do hope he loses steam soon though :(

It's Cher Lloyd. Why do you always put the Y before the O?

Pointless telling Lee that Bre, I said something the other week, He still spells it wrong everytime.

Sak Noel better flop or do "a 'Barbara Streisand'". I heard it FOUR times tonight and I only went to two clubs!! Still horrific, even when drunk

So I called my friend Jonjo and I said to him "Jonjo, la gente esta muy loca. What the f*ck!" :P

It's going to be huge, coming out right on freshers week and it's clearly the perfect anthem for that.

Sak Noel isn't my thing at ALL but I can't help but love it. Perfect party anthem and will be huge for Fresher's Week!
I heard Sak Noel numerous times during freshers week and it's truly a horrific song, unless your drunk.

I have to say, that's rather a step down from last year's Fresher's week anthem (Miami 2 Ibiza).

It's still good though. I don't know why, but I always laugh when it plays. It's just such a ridiculous song! Quite catchy though, aswell.

Dr. Dre up to #75!!! :cheer:

It's so great to see The Saturdays still in the Top 5 after almost 2 weeks, It's just a shame that two of their greatest singles, "Ego" and "Higher" only reached #9 and #10. Also Una has revealed that she is expecting a baby, congrats 2 her but will this be the end of The Saturdays??

I hope the news about Una helps somehow boost 'All Fired Up' again. :D

(I worry about their future, though, I really do.)

The good news is that if the Saturdays do fold with Una's pregnancy at least they have a good greatest hits in the making:

1) If This Is Love

2) Up

3) Issues

4) Just Can't Get Enough

5) Work

6) Forever Is Over

7) Ego

8) Missing You

9) Higher (ft Flo Rida)

10) Notorious

11) All Fired Up

Maybe it could get them a #1 :P

Nobody cared about JLo @ the American Idol in worldwide basis. It was a strong comeback. It is easily the catchiest song of the year even it hadn't been for Jlo. Also it was not random that it was a duet with PitBul whos been very successful WW with his collaborations lately. Even the second single was a duet with the US-so- beloved-Lil. On the floor would have been a big hit even without Jlo imo. The fact that it was her comeback just made it bigger.

About 'Moves Like Jagger', it was an obvious hit imo and it has nothing to do with Idol. An instant, the kind of song that sounds like a hit on the first listen. (even though I do not like it and I would not buy it)

If On The Floor and MLJ (or even Born This Way) do not sound like hits what does? Roling in the Deep? Definitely not!!! It is a miracle that a such good (and not that mainstream) song became a huge worldwide hit but it is also rare.

What!? It was her song, so if it wasn't for her then it wouldn't even have been released. I also wouldn't say nobody cared about Jennifer, she still has fans, she has just lost a fair few over the past few years. I also doubt the only reason Pitbull features is to ensure it smashes WW, he was a co-writer on the song and has worked with J-lo before and she clearly wanted to again.

I don't think it'd be the end of The Saturdays.. they could get a Greatest Hits out for 2012 whilst Una's off, keeping the band in the spotlight - they're not the type of artist yet who could disappear for a whole year and then make a comeback - whilst Una's on maternity leave and allowing her to spend more time with the baby but still dedicate time to the band at the same time and then come back in 2013 with a new album maybe. I'd hate to see Una leave the band, but if it comes to it I hope they don't replace her, and instead just continue as a four piece which they've said all along is what they'd do if one of them did quit.

It is worrying though.. and although she's stated today/last night that she has no intention of leaving the band, it could be a whole different story once the baby actually arrives.

isnt una a lot older than the other members? would she be in her 30's if a comeback was made in 2013?

I hope The Saturdays don't finish. They'd be a great loss to the UK music industry. :(

On a happy note, Bad Meets Evil up to #15! They are SLAYING at the moment! :D

Cee-Lo is at #56... How's this turd of a song doing so well when 'I Want You' completely flopped?!

I haven't even heard it yet (luckily), but it's 59p I think, and probably getting lots of airplay on the MOR and urban radio stations (although I Want You did in too).
