I wish 'Breakeven' would break into the top 10 and re-peak! :( But maybe it's TOO recent to have any proper sort of effect. I think it's the modern day 'Iris' and will eventually get a new peak in maybe 5 or so years time?

doubtful with the amount of big releases due out over the coming weeks, it's best chance of number 1 will be this week or the next

 

If only X-Factor would get cool dance songs from the 90s that underperformed... like that's gonna happen.

 

They wouldn't re-peak anyway. Only MOR-ish rock/pop ballads get this much effect from XF exposure.

Crap! Please stay top 10 officially Ed :( (although as Maroon 5 are still top 3 on their seventh week they'll probably end up with the top 10 weeks record now anyway -_- I still want Ed to overtake LMFAO though)

I really pray that 'Iris' makes it to #1! :wub: I've loved this song for quite a while now. ^_^
I really don't want Iris to get to #1! I've got a stigma against old songs doing well; they should stay in the past where they belong! I'd much rather Sak Noel or Maroon 5 get to #1, they're definitely more deserving of #1 rather than a song that was performed mediocrely a few times on X Factor.

Forget Iris, Nirvana's 'Smells Like Teen Spirit' is #87 and #105 because of the Nevermind re-release yesterday :wub: That for #1. :kink:
