When the goalposts changed and he started doing well I guess it wasn't! I wasn't laughing at Joe's expense?..if you read that thread you can see that not a lot of people thought Will would do well either. I believed he would go in at one and he did, i thought Joe would go top Ten and fall and he didn't..those were my predictions and one of them was wrong..what's wrong with that?

I dont understand why people are having a problem with people posting their predictions in a Will V Joe thread.... thats whats its for....its the posts every day pointing out the difference in chart sales/positions that are tedious, surely its best to wait until the end of the year to get a true idea of sales...and i dont mean Will V Joe i mean all the artists that were released around the same time. There was a thread about Wil's single jealousy and the predictions of doom were awful..but then it was a prediction thread and people were entitled to there opinion...but no one is resurrecting that thread.

Hi I didnt mention individual posters it was just a general comment on that thread that a lot of people were laughing at Joe and writing him off. The post I was responding to, was referring to the fact that certain posters mentioned the fact that I shouldn't mention/compare other artists when talking about Joe's "success". September 28, 201114 yr Is Brett Anderson anywhere in the top 75 with Black Rainbows? I thought it would do well given that he's on a major for the first time in 8 years, but obviously my heart has overruled my head. Music Week are saying it is "likely to chart in or around the top 75". It's easily his best solo album in my opinion so it's a shame it isn't doing better :(

Hi I don't think anyone has a problem with people posting on that thread. I think the point being made was that they were being compared on that thread and certain posters on this thread yesterday were telling people not to compare them. Yes i was thinking about the Jealousy thread too. Prediction threads could be bumped up endlessly every week but what's the point in that?

September 29, 201114 yr I like Joe and he may be doing quite well but it's nothing extrodinary. Olly Murs is still doing WAY better. Compare Joe's sales to the likes of other x factor contestants such as winners such as Leona and Alex and even JLS and Olly who didn't even win.

No offence but do we really want to turn this thread into Joe v Olly? Its been done to death and clearly just because something sells doesn't mean its any good and there are all sorts of reasons. The gulf in talent between them is massive in my view but as I've said before in a previous thread lets see what they are both doing in 5 years or more. Looking forward to seeing the midweeks shortly.
