Weird how Fly gets a boost now when Misha sang it the other day on XF to not much effect!

I woulsn't call going from 22 to 14 'not much effect' personally.

20. Paradise - Coldplay

HOW is this holding up so well? (It is behind where ETIAW was at this point but that's only because of Glastonbury and the EP release of ETIAW)

building airplay? plus I've pretty sure I've heard it in the background of X Factor at some point, it's still fantastic it's holding up so well though  I think it could definitely at least go top 40 when it's eligible

Oh, the highest I saw it was 20  Just ignore me then, tbf I've not been paying too much attention to iTunes in the past few days!

The top 10 effect is proven, look at how much acts drop when they drop out of the top 10 Ala Pixie Lott, who since yesterday has dropped over 10% on the top 10!

13. Pixie Lott - All About Tonight

24. The Saturdays - All Fired Up

39. Leona Lewis - Collide.

I think it's a shame 'Paradise' hasn't charted already - there must be genuine sales of the track rather than buying the track to pre-order the new album.

Speaking of Coldplay's new album, it'll be interesting to see whether they get massive first week sales in an albums market that has become quite pitiful in 2011 bar Adele of course. 'ETIAW' and 'Paradise' are both brilliant tracks and if this is a taster of the album, I'd really like to see Coldplay's new album break some type of sales record. If only it could become the fastest selling album of all time beating the current record held by Oasis 'Be Here Now' would be ace but it seems like that record will never be beaten.

Mine was - I'm in two minds about getting the new album but I LOVE Paradise  I guess they just can't differentiate between the two.

Wow at Leona. :o

Sats still doing pretty badly but at least they're only in for a three/four place drop this week.

Pixie has suprised me though.

'Collide' hasn't done that well for Leona, sadly.

Hearing 'GlassHeart' though has made me question why that wasn't the first single. It is far more instant and a far better song in general. I still really like 'Collide' though.

I'm glad they've delayed the album though. Releasing it in late November was just a plain stupid idea.

Releasing it in late November was the best possible strategy - why do you think it'll benefit her to release after the Q4 album sales boost?

Because it would get lost in the Christmas rush.

If it is released in March, it will be quieter and would allow Syco to have more time planning the era instead of f**king it up once again. Plus she can always boost GlassHeart's sales by performing the fourth single on XF next year.

Releasing Leona's album in March would get it to no.1 but its sales would have been much better before Christmas. No.1s can be meaningless these days but record companies still see it as the highest priority for some reason.
Most of the 59p lot have had some rather large dropoffs today for some reason. Olly Murs is on the brink of falling out of the top 10 again and just look at the enormous drops of Next To You and Hot In Herre! Odd as the advert is still there on the front page and they're all still 59p.

Good to see B.o.B in the top 300.

Not good to see Lady Antebellum back...AGAIN!

It's funny that The Silence has charted top 100 during X Factor in 2009, 2010 and now 2011. Will this happen every year?

Rihanna's being released tonight at 12! any chance at all it can make number one on Sun..?

Is it definitely tonight? I hope it is but I have a feeling she meant tomorrow night unless it's been confirmed otherwise.

EDITY: Oh, it has been confirmed it's tonight! :D
