TBF Matt hasn't exactly had the support Bleeding Love and Bad Boys got. Oh well, I guess next week this place will be full of 'LOL at Matt's flop' and 'Cher was the true XF winner!'

Or even worse, One Direction are the true winners :puke: Honestly, I'd rather hear Swagger Jagger 1000 times than WMYB once, it is AWFUL. I love Cher (though I'm alone in this)!

Not really a fan of boybands (due to the nature of their fanbases) but WMYB is far better than 'Swagger Jagger'. It's actually a decent pop song. SJ is a pop song trying to be a Hip-Hop song.
Matt certainly took his time to go top 10! At least he got there before the XF performance.
in my opninion Timbaland wouldn't be anywhere had it not been for him working with Aaliyah!
Rihanna hopefully #1 for a 2nd week next week, i do like Matt & am interested in the album still, but the song is dull.

This has to be one of the most RIDICULOUS statements I've ever read anybody make. Are you seriously implying that for a song to be interesting it has to focus on just ONE aspect of music (the rhythm) and completely dispense with all other things such as TUNE and MELODY? How incredibly narrow-minded.

And on a different note, POOR BRAVE ULTRA NATE. Not even an X-Factor appearance can return her to the top 300 :(

It's no more narrow-minded than all those people who like songs with a melody and nothing else (i.e. most people on here).

Most of my favourite songs do have a good melody anyway. But they have all the other things I metioned (syncopation, percussion, etc.) aswell.

I suspect it's more a case of "I think I know what I am talking about and will include all these technical music terms but really I haven't a CLUE what I mean or what I am saying".

I use those terms because those are terms I've been using for over a decade since I'm a paino/keyboard player, and in the past few years I've been making my own beats aswell. They just seem natural to me, and I use them all the time when I'm talking to people about music in real life, but I appreciate that you might not know what they mean (although they are some of the first musical terms you'd learn if you play an instrument), so I can try and stop using them if you want.

I don't think we'll see Glee troubling the iTunes top 40 ever again.

Moving it to sky1 was the dumbest idea for their song sales. Firstly I read that they lost HALF their audience [1.2 million watched season 2 finale and 600,000 watched opening season 3 episode].

And it now airs on Thursday which only gives them about 2 days full sale.

I guess most people would be pleased about Glee not troubling the chart though lol!

I hope Matt doesn't get to number 1. His song is major crap

Probably. Although the songs this year are also doing worse in the US. Last week the only song that went top 10 there was Fix You. In the previous season they'd often get a song at #1 and 3 or 4 in the top 10.

What is there to add. His song stinks :puke2:

I want Maroo 5 to be number 1 :( Has a song ever been at number 2 for 6 weeks before?

Hope Rihanna gets a second week just to end the run of one weekers at the top.
I love 14 posters on here and they know who they are

There have been 6 week number 2s before but never behind a different number 1 every week.....until today.

Agreed. I wouldn't buy it, or even chart it, but WMYB is actually a proper song.
