"The Voice" debuted in France last week-end and it got spectacular ratings (9m viewers), which is quite surpring considering all the other talent shows (Idol, Star Academy and X Factor) got cancelled due to poor ratings in the last two years. Seems like the show is a hit everywhere in the world :o

I'm really looking forward to this, I love the US version, every vocalist on the show is so talented.

Which UK channel broadcasts it?

It isn't on in the UK (which surprises me actually), those of us who want to watch it like me have to follow it online. I did read that BBC3 was looking into getting the rights for the US version (much like ITV show the UK X-Factor and ITV2 so the US version) but I guess it didn't materialise as the US series is running now (and has been for about 5/6 weeks) and I've heard nothing more of it. Perhaps they'll show it during the UK airing, but even so I thought we'd have heard something by now. 700k still watch American Idol so I'm sure it would be worth broadcasting.

Yeah I watch it through torrents, definitely worth a download. Very talented people.
My mate is auditioning for US season three today. He's a waaaaay better singer than me. But the talent pool is much bigger so I'm crossing my fingers, toes and everything else for him.

Jessica was pretty good, I just knew she would pick Jessie as her mentor.

People who weren't even watching the show knew that!

So the 5ive guy fails. Interesting...

Once Tom Jones turns around, why would you want to work with anybody else? I can't understand it myself. It's Tom effin' Jones!

 I agree

I love Trouble

An old mate of mine from school will be on this tonight, he should hopefully go through! Jessie J is predictably awful.

Sobstory ALERT!

There actually hasn't been anything abysmal so far, I'm enjoying it far more than I would an average audition show of the X-Factor, which is good.

So much for them not using sob stories.

They didn't effect the choosing though, which isn't as bad as X Factor.
