He probably doesn't actually find the hating funny (I doubt anybody finds it funny knowing that a few hundred people want them to die), but he's probably just saying that because he knows people want to upset him, so if he pretends it doesn't bother him he hopes people stop doing it. I used to do the same when I was younger and people picked on me.

Well, as long as Mistletoe pisses off fairly quickly (what with it not being anywhere near Christmas) and preferably doesn't come back I suppose its success isn't THAT bothersome. At least it's not knocking something good out of the top 10. But it really does need to not overstay its welcome before I bring out the 'Beliebers to be executed' again. TRUCE, Bieber. Truce.

It will only be being bought by 'Beliebers' at the moment and for the near future because no where will be playing a Christmas song just yet. It's only the same as any other initial fanbase buy that shoots up like Paramore or Enter Shikari that has limited appeal outside that hardcore. Two weeks top 40 for it.
