That probably helped it, if anything, since people that already had the original might still have bought it. On that note, this would have been one of the most appropriate times for Radio 1 to play a remix.

I'm surprised at how close their sales are! :o It's a tiny bit closer than that aswell, since Last Friday Night sold much more than E.T. did in 2010 aswell. It's a shame, since I think E.T. is far superior.
