WHY???????? Why are Steps #1? :( I've liked the album chart this year because its makes up for how crap the singles chart is, oh well Noel Gallagher will redeem it next week

Hoorahhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

:party2:

Ridiculous #1 but very welcome in 2011! Loving Ed Sheeran back to #2 as well, perfect top two

WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow, no one really saw Ed getting to 2 this week. A Steps no.1 is amazing even though I'm not really a fan. 2011 has been a year of comebacks.

Ah, I did say I wouldn't be surprised if Ed overtook Adele over the week.

Album Discussion Here

This is the first greatest hits album to be #1 since Robbie's second one at the end of last year! It seems a bit odd that GH collections don't get to #1 more often considering they logically should attract more sales than studio albums?

But generally people/fans have already bought the singles?

So thats (of the top of my head)

Steps, Joe McElderry, Maroon 5, Jennifer Lopez, Christina Aguiliera, Will Young [probably forgotten loads]

All with successful combacks in 2011

:D

Yes, but I've been ignoring your predictions since you PROMISED me Moves Like Jagger would get no.1 :P

OUCH at Evanescence, what a terrible era this has been :( that said, hearing Steps back catalogue then does bring back a lot of memories

Maroon 5, Jennifer Lopez and Christina had one successful song, doesn't constituite a 'great comeback'

Fly  Still sounds amazing. I'm just in completely love with Nicki Minaj tbh LOL. I can't get enough of her, hope we get new material from her soon though! :o
Maroon 5, Jennifer Lopez and Christina had one successful song, doesn't constituite a 'great comeback' especially as Maroon 5's album didn't do so well.

I disagree about J.Lo, a 750k selling #1 single, another fairly big top ten hit and a top ten album following the disaster of her last era definitely constitutes a great comeback in my book.
