Everything without synthesizers gets described as "dull" on here tbh.

I bet you someone is going to describe It Girl as "dull" in a second...

One Direction's album title is, as expected, absolutely dreadful. It's called 'Up All Night'. A self-titled would be better.

'The A Team' For now this is the longest running top 10 hit of the year then! Maroon 5 are only 5 weeks away from overtaking him though :(

What's wrong with their personalities?

I just can't stand them. They don't seem to really be into music at all, just fame. But then, that's the way it is these days.

Album Discussion Here

This remains song of the year material, incredibly pleased that it's had the most top ten weeks in 2011, fully deserved :D

Are you talking about that MTV/radio discussion we had?

I still can't get past the fact this sounds identical to The Script, I seem to be the only one that picks up on it.

I don't think it sounds like The Script at all. It's a bit too soft to be them.

And also the name of Razorlight's debut album unless I'm mistaken? So incredibly unoriginal. The photo on the cover isn't the best either!

I can see the comparisons, a little bit.

I wonder if Maroon 5 will beat Ed Sheeran's top 10 weeks then. I hope not, because if they do, it'll mean they'll match Eminem's top 10 weeks for the decade. :(

I can see the comparisons, a little bit.

You know a comparison is tenuous when Eric can only see it a little bit.

I used to find Loca People hilarious when I was first listening to it, but the joke is getting a bit old for me now. :(
So Matt hasn't FLOPPED WORSE THAN JOE. I expect he'll be at 6 though. And looking at itunes will have a similar fall. Shame since it's actually a decent track.

i suppose, but you seem to have got bored on electronic style music a bit.

sorry if im late with this but who is charlene soraia?

(25) The Calling-Wherever You Will Go

It's fitting that the original version of this tune is back on the charts. in the US it hit #5 in 2002 by the way

Such a beautiful cover, I'm ridiculously in love with this, moreso than I ever was Birdy's similar songs. I have no idea why either as I don't mind the originals of Skinny Love, Shelter and People Help The People but I can't abide the original of this.

If I think songs sound quite similar, I usually say they sound "EXACTLY THE SAME".

I see Matt more as an album artist though, we will have to wait and see how that fares more than by singles. I really don't think much of Run For Your Life, from what I have heard of the album, it sounds like one of the weaker songs to me.

I really like this version of the song, so beautiful.
