I know BJ is probably having a collective orgasm but this is tripe.

I'm sorry but that was awful (and not rock at all). :puke:

Rates 2011 (week 3)

9.0 Janet Devlin - Sweet Child O' Mine

7.0 Sami Brookes - If I Could Turn Back Time

6.5 Marcus Collins - Are You Gonna Go My Way

0.5 Rhythmix - TiK ToK / Push It

Rhythmix = Tik Tok/Push It

I never knew Ke$ha was such a well known "rock" act. :lol: Or Salt N' Pepa for that matter!!! :D Well, it's become an X Factor staple to create mash ups. How very Glee Cast. Vocally they're not brilliant - on par with Sami tonight for me. 5/10

Janet Devlin = 7/10

Marcus Collins = 6/10

Sami Brooks = 5/10

Rhythmix = 5/10

Not their best performance yet but I still really love them. Just have no idea what Tulisa was thinking with the song choice ....

The Silas Rate - Week 3

Marcus || 10 || My good god. Outstanding. Easily his best performance and finally something that really properly suits him.

Sami || 06 || Tragic song choice. Good vocals but just so dull. Worst performance by her for me.

Janet || 05 || Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

Rythmix || 03 || Not in the slightest bit rock. Just don't like their vocals.

KILL IT KELLY. "coz that wasn't rock"

Yes, they're having a go at Tulisa :D She deserves it.

I presume the whole of BJ will just say it's Kelly that did that even though they all did.

01 Janet - Okay, so the Diana Vickers / Ellie Goulding thing is gone. She's gone thoroughly down the Florence & The Machine route! Really enjoyed that. 9/10

02 Marcus - Oh, that was a great opener to the show! So energetic, yet it didn't lose tune. The performance in general. VERY impressed, because unlike most on here - I wasn't sold on the Russian Roulette or Moves Like Jagger performances. 8.5/10

03 Sami - She does have a good voice, she can sing almost every note in tune. But, is that gonna stop people thinking she's cruiseship/karaoke? Absolutely not, her weakest performance yet for me. 6/10

04 Rhythmix - I love Rhythmix, and I'm Like A Bird was my favourite performance of last week. But, this was vocally weak - a ridiculous song choice, and I'm disappointed. 5.5/10

Rhythmix - It was alright but not rocky at all. Bit disappointing since I really loved last week's performance. 6/10

Janet - 9/10

Sami - 7/10

Marcus - 6.5/10

Rhythmix - 6/10

Rebecca Fergusson is reminding me of good XF days.

7.9 Janet

7.8 Marcus

6.8 Sami

4.9 Rhythmix

That was POOR. No getting around it. They sung all of Tik Tok in the wrong key entirely!

I wasn't mad about Rhythmix's performance last week, but then when I re-watched it, I actually enjoyed it. I was a bit harsh on them last week and I take that back. This week, I quite enjoyed them too, although it wasn't perfect, vocally.

Its clearly Kelly & Gary V Tulisa & Louis this year. :heehee:

You tell em Kelly! :P

Tulisa must be high.

I can understand why she's pissed/defensive because ALL of the other judges have chosen at least one of their acts a song which isn't rock. They're all hypocritical shits.

Although I believe this is Janet's best performance yet, she really didn't do anything 'rock'. It's the same reason I'm not looking forward to Misha tonight. Her song choice is very her comfort zone too.

Misha's track isn't hugely rocky, but it'd be quite difficult to dispute that it's classified as rock!

As I thought then.

As you thought what? :lol:

Looking forward to Misha doing Purple Rain, big song to do and after Ruth's incredible performance it'll be hard to top. Only topped by one person, Stacey Francis on US X Factor! :wub:

GO ON SOPHIE! :P
