That wasn't bad. I do wonder if Marcus will be cursed from performing first but he's a billion times better than Frankie and if there's any justice, Marcus will last longer in the competition than Frankie. I suspect Frankie will get the pimp spot. Anyways, this wasn't bad but I didn't think it was outstanding. 6/10

That was very VERY good. His vocals really don't suit the song, but fair play to him for being way out of his comfort zone. Little bit pleased I had a cheeky bet on him to win last week at 25/1 :D Think he's the dark horse.

I'm gonna wait til the end to rate. God, Janet is making these journalists look like fools.

Ooooooooooooh the VT is making Janet look half raging cunt and half genius for standing up for her beliefs.

After last week I was expecting this to be a lot better. Still good but nowhere near as good as last week :(

01 Janet - Okay, so the Diana Vickers / Ellie Goulding thing is gone. She's gone thoroughly down the Florence & The Machine route! Really enjoyed that. 9/10

02 Marcus - Oh, that was a great opener to the show! So energetic, yet it didn't lose tune. The performance in general. VERY impressed, because unlike most on here - I wasn't sold on the Russian Roulette or Moves Like Jagger performances. 8.5/10

Janet Devlin = Sweet Child O' Mine

 

Performing the Taken By Trees version? What a COP OUT. This is about as "rock" as Atomic Kitten. Anyways, this is probably the first time I've even remotely enjoyed her performance. I'm still not buying the Ellie-Vickers sound, but it's less obvious tonight which makes a (semi) refreshing change. 7/10

I enjoyed Janet as well. Beautiful performance, even though it wasn't a rock arrangement! I'm glad she decided to stand up for herself with those journalists, good on her!

Janet - Favourite performance from her so far, the song suited her very well! Not so sure about the hair though. 9/10

I thought so much of Janet's performance I went and answered the door for my food and didn't pause it. It saved me from falling into a coma.

I don't get what the judges think about the rock week? Bit odd, do they not know not every classic rock song is up-tempo. She could have done the original version but meh. It was quite nice. She does need to venture out of her comfort zone a little bit, but I think she's getting better every week.
