I'll remember that next time you complain about money issues.

I've bought them over the years though, not all in one go!

The only one I regret buying is Urban Hymns. Can't understand why it sold so many as apart from the hit singles it's rubbish. :(

Hmmmm, more than I'd have guessed. :o

I only own '21' myself, as the only pre-2010 albums I've bought are The Prodigy's discography  My mum definitely owns quite a few of the other ones though (I'm certain she has at least 'Brothers In Arms' and 'Tubular Bells' as she's a huge fan of both artists - I can't be arsed to ask her which other ones she owns though )
I simply DON'T BELIEVE that Talk On Corners and Spice don't take pride of place on Dandy's shelves.

Spirit's been missed out. :o

I think Adele's 21 will be #1 in the future. Bold statement :heehee:

The list I started with was from 2006 and Spirit was released after. I simply forgot. It'd be #21 I suppose.

and soon to be #16 (if not already) :)

Yes Progress has outsold The Circus but falls short of the list. The next album in line could be War of the Worlds, Coldplay's X&Y or something from Robbie Williams I believe. It's impossible to tell and all I have is just guesses.

I'd say a few hundred thousand bought it twice as it was re-issued with the radio versions of the singles a few times.

Why no Leona on the list?

Ah, Come On Over was the first album I bought myself that wasn't given to me as a present from relatives! Good memories :D I can't hate it really. Actually it makes me wonder how many other people a similar age to me would have done the same considering it was the phenom of 1999 and young people are always more heavily influenced by whatever is at the top of the charts. Similarly a lot of kids might well be buying 21 as their first album purchase today.

I own the majority of the albums listed here from the late 1990s onwards - and a few before. I can't say most of them aren't good albums and Keane, Amy Winehouse, Scissor Sisters and Spice Girls particularly gave me much pleasure at their respective times so I don't understand the snobby comments.

was that my snobby comment?
